Why don't some atheists dig deeply and investigate the historical claims that Christians make and point out the contradictions in the Bible and the claims that the Bible is perfect and without error? If the Bible is perfect and true, where is the evidence of a Moses or even a Jesus? All we have are stories and claims-no evidence. Are there errors in the copies that date hundreds of years after Jesus supposedly lived? Yes. And stories like the woman caught in adultery are not in the earlier copies of the NT.
