This woman is an idiot, a crude simplistic thinker. Why does Israel have a right to exist? It has been declared an Apartheid state by all the main human rights organisations. Did the South African Apartheid state have a right to exist? Of course not! No one in their right mind thinks so. The fact is you cannot have a Zionism which is non- discriminatory. The solution is simple and not even radical-- a single state with equal rights for all, like South Africa today or any of the western democracies. Why do people like this woman resist this? Because in truth they have a Herrenvolk philosophy, ie, the Jews are special and Judaism should not be polluted by having inferior people like the Palestinians in the same body politic. It is time Israeli firsters came right out and admitted it.

Very interesting video. At 49:30 Leo Moser is mentioned as being a strong chess player and a mathematician. Leo had a brother William who was a math professor at McGill university and who was also a very strong chess player. Both brothers were big names in the field of Combinatorics.

I was interested in the history of relationships between mennonites and jews in eastern europe because of sad and personal outcomes with founders effect and BRCA mutations in my family. Mennonite descended families here in Kansas USA are just riven with these mutations so there must have been more than just murder going on. A lot of my family and Kansas mennonites settled here in Kansas in waves before the world wars. We are all having hysterectomies and mastectomies or dying of breast cancer or ovarian cancer. We must have some biological relationship to the jews of eastern europe. I almost feel Jewish. Humans can be so savage but there must also be love.

Stalin came on power 1917 he founded the communist party 1922. From 1917 to 1932 million people was killed by the Sowjetunion secret service. The UDSSR took over one country after another country by brutal force. I really will pray for this young woman.

Thanks so much for bringing this panel of experts together. It is impressive to see that this is truly a global initiative which brings together people of good will who recognize that antisemitism is a threat to everyone and not just to Jews. It is also very valuable to hear from the Australian panelist who encountered antisemitism while studying in the UK and found that the lack of a definition of antisemitism was an obstacle to trying to get people to take the problem seriously. With all the misinformation being spread about the IHRA working definition of antisemitism, the best remedy is to get out the truth about what IHRA is intended to do and why it is needed. The video clarifies that the preamble to the IHRA examples contains language explicitly stating that criticism of Israel similar to criticism that would be acceptable of another country cannot be considered antisemitic. These panelists address many of the misconceptions that lie at the root of the critique of IHRA that is being disseminated by various groups and by academics, including by a group of Canadian Jewish academics. Another key point is that IHRA is an intergovernmental organization and that adoption of the IHRA working definition of antisemitism imposes no legal obligations on the governments that do so. Panelists also addressed the question of whether the IHRA definition has ever been used to suppress the academic freedom of anyone. The German delegate made the point that it is not the IHRA definition that causes problems for critics of Israel, but that right wing political groups will sometimes to try bar people with a record of criticizing Israel or supporting BDS and erroneous claim that IHRA defines their speech or activity as antisemitic. This is incorrect as IHRA makes no mention of BDS and explicitly states that legitimate criticism of Israel is not antisemitic. Misinformation about IHRA, whether spread by supporters or critics of Israel, is not something that can be fixed by attacking or changing IHRA. It must be fixed by addressing the misinformation whenever or wherever it is disseminated.

It is important to keep the Canadian heritage known. First Canadian (common wealth) grand master. The country is stronger for the diversity of immigrants who chose Canada over many other parts of the world. Thank-you keeping this alive.
