We are Lonely Mountain, a duo of two multi-instrumentalist brothers from North Wales. Our time spent together in the heart of the Welsh countryside has provided the perfect stimulus for writing innovative and nostalgic music. We dedicate ourselves to producing our own material, having both studied Music Production in University. We have also built our own studio, learned how to film our own promotional videos and invested in the relevant equipment.

Stiperstones is a chilled folk/ country tune that holds a very important place in our hearts. It was written to stand up to all the anthems; the big hitters and emotional rollercoasters out there and provide an alternative. We like to think of it as a fun, beautiful and heart warming tune that reminisces with a sense of nostalgia about past good times and places you somewhere else far away. The song is based on an area in Shropshire in which we have spent a lot of time wandering the windy tops.

Waiting on a Moment is arguably the title track of our new EP, the "Hey Nostalgia Sessions". This is a collection of five songs recorded live in our home studio located on the rugged tempestuous coast of North Wales.
