For Peter Pan in the book/ play he lives in Neverland and takes children there for a short time which is what he does with Wendy and her brothers but Neverland is a place where children dont grow up . Wendy goes back home and Peter promises to come get her from time to time but this is only possible while she is still a child because adults cant visit Neverland but Peter is very forgetful.He only remembers Wendy when he sees her. She keeps a light in the window for him but he never comes back . The one day he remembers and flies through the window but she is all grown up with a husband and children .He is upset that she didnt wait for him and grew up but gets over it as soon as he sees her daughter.

I love the albatross I read the rime of the ancient mariner poem as a child and she managed to use the imagery of the poem so well. The albatross is good luck for sailors but if you shoot it down it becomes bad luck .The ancient mariner kills it in the poem , this brings bad luck on his ship and his shipmates make him wear it around his neck and it becomes this huge burden . I think TS feels like being with her can be a huge burden for a partner because of the things people say .

Robin is such a beautiful song, perhaps it's because I'm a parent but I get emotional when I listen to that song because it perfectly describes childhood and the anxiety parents have to preserve that innocence for as long as they can.
