Hello good job first of all & second i have a question while installing subwoofer box did you plastic peice
Sdala B, Paige : Thula Le Bota; Omg, you have also introduced me to this woman too. She is amazing. Great work on the Fj by the way...but the music, wow, just wow.
Thanks for introducing me to some ripping tunes.
Well done
Good music 🇿🇦
Great video and love the music! Did you screw the camera to the bottom of the bumper?
Thanks so much for this video! Looking at a 2008 FJ this weekend and a backup camera and new h/u are top of the list.
Let me know if and when you purchase it! #keeponpushin
@@jamiepryce8206 Picked it up last weekend!!! Pretty freaking happy. First up is working to repair the paintwork, then H/U and backup camera!
Get your self some Klein or Greenlee wire crimpers, needle nose will make poor connection and cause resistance to fluctuate which means the amps will go on protection mode
Appreciate the informative feedback I can use... I'll wait till it's warmer outside to change them out.
@@jamiepryce8206 I hate being TH-cam police but it will keep your equipment happy... 👍🏽 how do you like your FJ? I’m thinking of buying one. Is there any room under the rear seats for amps?
Were can i get that jl audio box for fj cruiser

Very bad setup 👎 Poor fj
Hey nice job. Couple questions. Did you use 4 AWG wire for the power to the amp(s)? Also, 4 AWG to the sub? Finally, why 2 different amps instead of just using a 5 channel? I have a Kenwood Excelon X700-5 lying around I never installed. Your video has inspired to get it done.
Hey Cj Magnuson, The power cables: 1/0 gauge wire from the battery to a distribution block. From the distribution block to each amp I used 8 gauge wire. The reasoning behind using two amps instead of a single 5ch comes down to cost and control. A dedicated amp for the Subwoofer gives me the ability to silence the bass when traveling with my kid! Thanks for sharing....
I realize it's kinda randomly asking but do anybody know of a good place to watch newly released tv shows online?
i needs one.. just bought the jbl front door speakers. cant wait til they deliver so i can install🥵💪🏿💪🏿
good Video, can you tell me please location of the OEM AMP? on my fj, only speakers on the roof is works, i checked all my speakers , they are fine, thinking problem is AMP, thank you
I used a wire harness to connect my amps to the aftermarket head unit. All the sites I've visited has the OEM located somewhere under the steering wheel above the pedals. I could not find one in my FJ Cruiser at all, is you do let me know bro...
Good video! What did you use to connect the back up camera to the rear light? You didn’t solder the wires correct?
No soldering necessary. I used T Taps electrical wire connectors that tap into existing wires without damaging it.
DJ Pusha cool, thank you!
please dont tell me you put your fuses above the foot rest... First time you kick those you wish you wouldnt have put them there damage the holders enough to start a fire. .. If you have to put your fuse in that area either behind the kick panel or screw them into the firewall thats higher, where nothing can touch them or interfere near your feet. peace. be safe.
Lol the fuses are placed behind the pedals at the upper part of that location. What you see at the foot rest is the distribution block and it has a protective cover. Great question though.
Unfortunately that’s exactly what he did 🤦♂️ For any FJ owners that come across either of these two videos. Don’t place wires around your feet or the peddles, much less an in line fuse. If you’re placing multiple amps under your seats. Your power wire should be from the battery with an inline fuse or circuit breaker within roughly 16” or less. Then to your distribution block under the seats, and to your amps. If your amps don’t have an internal fuse you’ll need to add an inline fuse between the distribution block and amps. Also don’t run loose wiring under your FJ, or mount a rear view camera to the underside of your bumper, like in the other video. Not only is the wiring not properly protected, but anything can easily damage or rip the camera off. These things would apply to any vehicle.
I mounted my blue sea fuse block and negative bus bar for interior 12v (ham,cb,fans) on the driver kick panel with no issues. It’s been a few years I see no risk unless you have a child playing kick ball in the drivers seat
All we understood is ;" uh ..uh.." ..where is the instructions of what we should do? Please ..
What instructions would you like to see??? This might be helpful in my next video.
Great video and tunes fella!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
