Nice run Tim. I have a 5th Gen Camaro set up similarly to yours and the canyons and mountain roads I run look similar to what I see in your video. Looks like the jurisdiction set the speed limit artificially low though? I would have guessed that to be a 55 MPH road. Like you, I stay between the roads and am patient with slower traffic.
Haulin ass good stuff!
You could have aided aero by buffing the paint
Wow! Great road!
Doing too much man who gave this guy the keys 😭😭
Did you have an ethanol sensor or module you used? I have b7 a4 and looking for how to set it up for e85
@@jacobrasmussen4784 just a separate tune.if I went back to pump gas I just loaded that one. Definitely not recommended
@@TimMatijow a content sensor isn’t recommended? Howcome?
@@jacobrasmussen4784 don't recommend doing it the way I did it
@@TimMatijow just from using stock fuel pump?
@@jacobrasmussen4784 On other cars I put sensors on I could see a 20-25% difference in ethanol content. The way I had it had no way to account for that. Though I don't think there is any way to do that automatically on this platform anyways. Having that information is definitely better than not
Serious inquiry, would you like an editor to help out?
i think the car is really good from what i see but i would recommend to put some sort of roll cage or bars to rigidify the body instead the weight penalty on the floor . after it s just what i can see from only this camera maybe i say wrong. From experience reinforce the car always bring massive handling improvment at low weight / cost penalty (just use carbon or aluminium bolt on if no regulation)
Nice video realy informative. But i think the vortex generator on the rear top back are put reverse .... they should be turn 180
what are the specs?

Way more tire then that thing needs for autocross

The biggest improvement looks like the fender archs
They doubled the front downforce over just the splitter. Barely made any drag too
@@TimMatijow yeah I just noticed how smooth the flow was over the arches
It's a 2010
Nice wheelin’! What year and mode of your ISF?
Good run. Great job this weekend.
Song?
Where can we find the posted data?

I was watching your older video of the a5 with a motoza tune what was the 0-60 time an was that a 13 in the 1/4 ?
It was an old a4 with the 1.8 turbo. No idea on 0-60 but it could do close to a 1.7 60ft time. It got off the line very quick for what it was. 13.3 quarter mile
@@TimMatijownice 1/4 time! What did you set your launch control at? What clutch was you running?
@@nathaneberline1067 pretty close to 6000 if I remember. Ecs stage 2 clutch and flywheel
You killed it 👏
That rear wing is well beyond stalled
Spoiler at 45 degrees was about where we ended up
Any mods or is it stock?
wider wheels in the front only. everything else is stock

присрали непонятно что, а оно не работает
Supposedly a faster car than the supra due to just how slippery it is in the wind.
Team Never Lift
I love this road I live in North Carolina, so I drive it every year
Do you have a full swap parts list?
so what was the point of all this nonsense?
want one so bad
Me too bro
Great save at the end almost like you meant to do that 😅
That's so cool being able to see the smoke curl back towards the car after it gets split by the spoiler which I believe helps a bit with fuel economy.
Nope that turbulence creates more drag lol
Toyota engineers IIRC did say it was to reduce drag because the rear shape is actually even worse without it due to more separation due to the steep drop It gives the air somewhere to attach back to and the low pressure over the engine bay isn't really drag because it is isolated rather than pulled along That was the explanation on the original MR2 anyway, it probably applies to a lesser extent to these generation ones, but I've seen the point proven on sedans which also use this trick to float a pocket of air at the rear glass in exchange of then reducing the larger source of drag AKA turbulent flow behind the actual car
I had a C5 Z for 12 years until this past August. She was built by Vengeance Racing and was a lot of fun. You brought back memories. Great vid!
Why not spin the wheels?
A wind tunnel that can spin the wheels is $20k+ an hour
Wow, i see tnx!@@TimMatijow
@@TimMatijow how much is does it cost to build one?

Is this with just the Carbahn stage 1 performance controller which is a box that will be installed under the hood of the car AKA their piggy back controller? Or did you have to have the DME shipped out for an unlock and then mapped with the carbahn stage 1 DME unlock map?
Not my car. I'm pretty sure it's just the piggyback
Looks like fun

Is the data secret ? What was the base cD ? What was the cD with each modification ? What was the cD with all modifications attached ? So you increase the aerodynamic efficiency of the car as well ? Was this by removing the spoilers and wings that were causing the drag ? Where is the data ? - Thanks
They said they uploaded it, yet I can't find it.
Thanks for posting ! Care to share any data ? What was the stock cD, versus modified cD ? Lift and downforce figures ? Great to see the slow mo, and really liked the lack of music as well.
