He has the potential to have a stunning career once he stops caring about how good he looks in TH-cam shorts and starts actually playing with bands. Remember that at his age Steve Vai was already playing with Zappa. Until then it is impossible to compare him with musicians that have. The idea that he is even close to Guthrie is ridiculous. He probably learned half of his technique from magazine articles and videos by Guthrie. The next 10 years will make or break him.

I love Romeo but Shawn is the winner here. If we had video of Romeo playing with a cleaner tone, that would help the comparison. That distortion can hide a lot - I should know. I rely on it! 😅😅
