I knew this song years ago. I’m a big fan of Naruto. The first time I’ve heard this song on Anime, I’ve loved it. Only 15 seconds to look for this in TH-cam :) I cried. The theme is very deeply. Kimimaro was one of the most perfect character in Naruto Dattebayo.

Kimimaro is goddamn tragic. I never rooted against a character so much before, and at the same time, rooted for, because I was so conflicted. Like, he was just a goddamn child. His entire clan slaughtered, and the only survivor. Rescued by the absolute scum that is Orochimaru. He felt that he owed his life to Orochimaru, metaphorically speaking, and then quite literally. Man did not have the self-worth because the trauma of his childhood was unhealed. AND YET, he believed rather profoundly that the meaning of life, was to find your own meaning, and live by it. So, he was grateful that Orochimaru saved his life. And even though it was for selfish purposes, Orochimaru actually did a good thing for once in his life. Kimimaro felt free. Free to find meaning in life. Even though he was dying, and even though he knew Orochimaru wanted his body, he knew that Sasuke would make a better replacement. (Orochimaru was in fact upset that Kimimaro died, even if it was selfish.) Kimimaro completed his mission, even though he did not know it. And eventually Sasuke brought the karma that was long overdue for Orochimaru.

Life is being hard for me lately, and i'm so confused on what i'm supposed to do. I've been feeling overwhelmed, and frustrated by whether i'm doing the right thing or not. I just feel like i'm not living, just surviving. Now listening to this music makes me feel like it's okay to breathe and take things slowly, it's okay to not pressure myself and do what makes me feel comfortable. I shouldnt compare to others becuz each has their own pace.

Goddamn man, this whole fuckin arc… legendary. The most legendary arc in all of anime. So raw and emotional, culminating in the showdown between naruto and sasuke. And then there’s Kimimaro, coming out of seemingly nowhere with such an incredible and well written back story and character arc. Incredible. Just the most beautiful writing. Man… I miss this arc. Idk if anime will ever be this good again.
