Spring Swarm
มุมมอง 62310 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a lovely swarm that left one of Doug's hives during a family BBQ and we were able to film it landing on a nearby bush. This is how a swarm looks while it is forming. Please DON'T Spray Swarms. Call your local Fire Department for the contact information of a local beekeeper who can safely take them to a new home. Thank you!
Maintaining an Observation Hive with Doug Vincent
มุมมอง 2.2K11 ปีที่แล้ว
Maintaining an Observation Hive mainly includes making sure there is enough space to ensure the hive has room to reproduce. This means giving them empty frames, and moving full frames somewhere else. It's best to have a less productive queen in an Observation Hive, to reduce the need for this, but our hive has a fairly productive leading lady.

Beekeeper and bee stings

Doug Vincent, owner of Beekind.com talks about his experience with honey bee stings.
At last, watching my hives inflammation fade day after day until they completely vanished was such a relief, I went with what I pointed out and within the first 10 days or so the urticaria was barely visible! I just go'ogled the latest by Shane Zormander and after 20 days my skin has never been healthier!
To be able to wander the outdoors shirtless, and never have to keep worrying about hiding your hives can be actually quite the relief. Whether it's been 2-3 weeks and also you haven't had the capacity to get a treatment, you may be suprised with Shane Zormander's approach.
A great video for anyone I think he is bang on, Subscribed please do the same. Next year at 7 hives and growing. I started this year with 1 hive and now at 3 thanks for sharing. Canadian here so never get in hive Jan or Feb lol
you need better audio
