If you can't afford central don't even bother. Same goes for Sydney, except Sydney it's even more important to be coastal.
Great photography!
Great video!
The only time your eyes weren't dead was when you were talking about rooibos or that uhhm dark continent
Thanks for watching
First mistake…. Choosing Auckland.
Thanks for watching. Agreed, but most job offers to start out in NZ are unfortunately in Auckland.
@@deonvanrooyen5920 yes that is unfortunate. Ourselves had to stay in Auckland for 6 months because of bringing pets with us as well as time needed to find house to buy in the location we wanted. We could not rent a house due to all the animals we had (which Surprised me compared to Switzerland). We had to lease a commercial building.
Great video! Thanks for sharing
Ummm I love Bennetts
Great video, thanks for sharing
Great video@
Great video!
Metal. It's what the Greeks called anything that came out of the ground, so metal ore but also rocks are 'metal'. Why it's still used I've no idea, but that the origins of it, according to Stephen Fry and if he says so it must be true
Great video!!
So long as all the new SA Immigrants stay in Auckland, I will be happy.
As a born kiwi, your account of the various points is quite accurate. One thing though ... use of mobile phones or other electronic distractions while driving is HIGHLY discouraged, and can be fined. Probably something you could have touched in your safety point. But otherwise - a really informative video for your visiting, or migrating countrymen. Oops another point (minor) "Kia ora" has many different uses and meanings depending on the context of the situation, and the inference. Kia ora (depending on how it's said and when) can also mean - good health, thank you, cheers (raising or clinking of glasses), ok, understood, gotcha, even acceptance when being told off ... I thought your video was pretty good though. Kia ora 😉👌
im 49 this year NEVER heard of FP for foot path!
New Zealand weather is often very changeable but broadly it's temperate with much rain.
Good video, it’s interesting to see others perspectives of nz
Wow you photography is amazing! Makes me want to move there now lol
Why NZ,why not Europe, NZ is expensive, I'm a Kiwi, just wondering why people who have the option of going somewhere else ,
Thanks for watching. Agreed, NZ is expensive. South Africans are leaving to many different countries across the globe, due to the high crime, murder and corruption rate. South Africa is in total collapse, not offering any hope to raise a Family, not to mention getting employment. South Africa also has power outages several times a day. Basic services like water sewage and refuse removal is collapsing. New Zealand is one choice of several countries. (like Australia, UK, Canada, USA, ...) New Zealand is a personal choice.
Iit's like you said...option.
10.2 Please don’t litter, use the bins provided. Very good photography and aerial shots!
Thanks for watching and for item 10.2! Agreed we need to keep this beautiful country of NZ clean and green!
My goodness, more than 20 years later, and including a widening of the motorway, that traffic has continued to build up and worsen. I haven’t lived in Auckland since 2008 and definitely do not miss that traffic. I am new to your channel and shall view your other uploads as well. Wishing you well with your migration experiences. Regards from Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Beautiful there, well done guys the ceramics look amazing. 👌🏻
Thanks 👍Thanks for watching
What I see is many Domkop South Africans who still buy expensive 4x4 s rather than saving to buy a house...Houses are very expensive in NZ....And come retirement...these people are going to live in caravan parks and caravans....Save your money and buy a house as soon as you can.....stop making it sound like a vacation....
The video is intended to assist fellow South Africans who have received jobs in Auckland and don't know what sub-burb to choose.
Thanks for sharing. Great video
Just because Auckland is the biggest city it's far from the best. Wellington has a great vibe, bit down South is better( my opinion) Christchurch and Dunedin are better.
Thanks for watching. Agreed, we will be doing a video of the beautiful South Island Dunedin & Fjordlands, coming out soon.
@@deonvanrooyen5920No one immegrate to the Fjordlands....Domkop !!!
A lot of people live and work in the City of Dunedin which is on the doorstep of the most beautiful part of New Zealand, the Fjordlands!@@truth-Hurts375
When immigrating to New Zealand, why must every South African assume that Auckland is where you have to go to. NZ has many cities and towns, 100 percent better to live in than in Auckland.
Hi Jacques, thanks for you for watching and your comment. You are 100% correct. Unfortunately most of us end up in Auckland as most of the jobs are there. Others are lucky to start in other cities, which agreed is a lot better and more affordable than Auckland.
100% 👍👍👍
Good day Sir... Thanks for the little tour. Danny from SA who is planning on relocating to NZ just like you. I am a Civil Engineer/Structural with most experience in Construction Project Management any advise? I saw you in your office with Safety vest... are you in construction? Your response will much appreciated, thank you
yeah bro You commute across the city. My parents brought in one tree hill back in the seventy's because it is a quick commute to most jobs. Work life balance and feeling safe is more important than money. South Africans are welcome here as long as they recognize it is a different world. Some things are harder much is better it depends on what you value . You seem like you will be a good Kiwi.
Oh, I wish I had a couple of million to spare - thanks Deon
Thank you for sharing Deon
Thank you for watching and I'm glad you have enjoyed the video
😮😮😮
You are lucky as most of us dont have the luxury of leaving for home early before the traffic rush. An ordinary day in Auckland is the crazy peak hour traffic which is quite a nightmare after living here for close to 30 years.
Hi I'm your subscriber I'm from in pakistan I love your videos soon I'm coming NZ so I like to meet with you

Thanks Craig. Masks only required in Supermarkets and Public Transport. All the best with you move.
