I don’t think so - they are designed to replace the stock tweeters on the model 3 and Y. The housing wouldn’t fit.

They connect to the car’s OBD port - you would have to replicate that signal somehow for another vehicle type, it’s not just power coming from there.

You can add them to a thumb drive and copy them through file manager app. Or you can play them off the drive directly - I recommend a 90 degree angle bend for the drive if you choose to leave it plugged in to minimize risk of damage to the port! Thanks for watching!

I have had this display for a few months now and it has not had any issues aside from low volume from the built in speakers, which I think is more of a me issue.

Hey Frank - the software update should be available from the reseller - this screen is almost 2 years old at this time, I doubt there have been many, if any, updates to this display since this one, but my suggestion would be to reach out to the seller you got the display from and see if they can send you the file. We received this update from Hansshow via WhatsApp at the time this video was made.

Sorry to hear that! It should be covered under there warranty - best method to contact them is through the US support number based in California. Have you tried any update files, or removing the device and reinstalling? Software-wise I’m not sure how much help I can offer, but if it’s an install related issue we can definitely try to help!

Hey Tyger - it’s there, you just gotta dig for it, sometimes it’s buried really good. It might feel like it’s stuck or won’t go, but it will with a little pulling. Just don’t force anything as the wire is a bit on the thin side. When you are tidying up your wires you do not have to bury it as far back as it was, you can leave it to be more accessible. Right on. If I remember correctly, it’s closer to the passenger side of the vent, try to get your hand in the space between the top of the vent and the console housing. It’s a tight fit, if you have larger hands it might not be that easy, but I promise it’s there!

@@TopShelfTesla Found it!!! It was taped behind the air vent, I only kept prying for it since you gave the assurance for it being there. I think they taped it in the 2023+ model Y to avoid rattling otherwise I don't see why they'd even do that in the first place

Most of the spoilers we have used do not have the tape installed, so you can definitely use your own tape that you can verify authenticity. You can also find OEM spoiler adhesive kits on eBay too, but they’re around $40-$50 which is steep for tape.

Very simple operation, which I love. Also love that everything is contained in the handles now, no more individual control boxes for each door, much more efficient!!!

Have you tried the other settings - also swiping down from the top to check volume? If they are not working, your product is covered under warranty, I would contact the seller and see if they can arrange a replacement.

Hi - unfortunately we do not have this display installed currently. I do not have the firmware files. My suggestion would be to contact the seller you got the display from. In our experience, most of these displays are all from the same manufacturer, but the sellers do sometimes put their branding on the firmware, which is why we recommend getting files from the seller. You should be able to reach most sellers on WhatsApp. Hope that helps, thank you for watching

Not sure we experienced that with ours - these are tweeters so they should only be carrying highs and not a full range of sound, if it’s still quieter then maybe take one off and replace with the OEM speakers and do a right/left comparison to try and troubleshoot. @@Adam76 would most likely require opening up the 4D tweeter and soldering in the OEM tweeter, however I have not done this and I’m not 100% certain on fitment. You could contact Tlyard also

@@TopShelfTesla Hello, i was refering on the depth diameter of the speaker. Meaning if the new speaker is longer with its magnet if it would fit in it.

@panosfxable ah, gotcha. It might be doable, you could definitely use the hepaking mounting brackets with other speakers (focal and alpine for sure) as long as the screws line up. The door woofer cavity is pretty deep, you would have to do a test fit to make sure the window clears the magnet when you lower it, since it’s in that same space. The door disassembly is pretty straightforward, let us know how it goes! Thanks for watching

@nicolascorona-martinez3153 hi Nicolas, you can add as many of those T-connections on the rear console obd connector, just make sure the blue cables are the ends of both sides. We currently have 5 connections on ours, the only issue you’ll face is where to put the cables!!!! You can stuff them under the console it’s safe. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!!!

Sure, you’re not actually running the cable through the active grille, you’re going to feed the connector through the space between the bumper and the top of the grille housing. The bumper will have a bit of flex allowing you to sneak that barrel connector through that gap. You should see the barrel connector on the frunk side down in the space behind the bumper, just pull it in from there. Hope that helps

Hey - there is a way, to a degree, but it’s not perfect and not as customizable as I’d like. There are the rainbow slow moving, then there are 4 other streaming modes (knight rider style, incremental, chase and a fill style ones) The way it works is the solid color selected in the solid color mode will be one of the colors in the streaming modes. However, the second color on my kit is normally green or white, so it’s far from perfect in that sense. There is also a slow color change mode that goes through all the colors in a slow fade sequence that is nice too. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼

yes, will clog depends on location and weather, u need some research so u know when to put it on and when to take off. it has benefit and some downsides, use with caution

We have not had that happen with ours. It’s been on almost a year with no issues aside from a small hole in the mesh from road debris. Unless you’re driving through a pile of leaves or debris, there’s really very little chance of anything clogging the air intake, sorry if you’re having this issue with yours!
