Asharwa dance originated from Afizere culture for time immemorial. It is exclusively done by the youths during harvest season. But because of people's love for the this dance, not only is Asharwa dance now perform in several ocassions, but also enjoying the patronage of other ethnic groups as they also dance Asharwa effectively
