Hmm so like many decisions in the game, without Tav/Durge to guide them, the companions will do whatever they want. In a good playthrough I like to keep Gandrel alive as then (if you free them) he can be with his kids in act 3.

Ah I was wondering if anyone had made any videos about this. I noticed the same thing with Wyll meeting Karlach while Tav is too far away and he automatically spares her.

This is the first time I've teared up with this game... Why are we given such tragic stories? Heavy Rain, RDR1 & 2, Ghost of Tsushima, and most endings of BG3...I can't help but play games with great stories, but tragic endings like this remind me of my crippling depression and frequent wishes to "let go" ...I really gotta stop watching stuff like this. I don't know how much more sadness I can take

I like how The Emperor winning is essentially the same as the Netherbrain winning. In terms of the two outcomes, the results are much more similar than they are different. Either way, a Mindflayer rules with the intent of dominating or controlling all life, everywhere, for the sake of their never-ending desire for evolution. Maybe The Absolute would be more “primal” and aggressive in their conquest of all the stars, but The Emperor would still do the same, albeit in a more slow, methodical manner. His desire to evolve, consume more powers and experiences from the brains of unique individuals, his complete domination of the Netherbrain, and his possession of the Crown of Karsus all make me think that his hunger for *more* would never be sated. I wonder whether or not the Netherbrain would actually remain subdued forever, though. Given enough time, I feel like it would evolve on its own consistently and passively enough to eventually be able to work around The Emperor’s control of the crown and newly found Orpheus abilities. And at that point, it would have evolved to something much larger and exponentially more powerful than even a Netherbrain. Maybe.. an Astralbrain? 😂 Who knows 🤷‍♂️ Either way, Mindflayers bad. Very interesting ending though. Cool to see. Thanks for the upload!

Imma say it. The Githyanki are like straight up the Saiyans of U7. Proud warrior race, refuses to bow to anyone but themselves, seeks to destroy a certain powerful enemy hated by all. Through combat is their language, including love. Karlach partnered up with Lae'zel has such a great chemistry, a battle worn Tiefling that came out as a gentle soul even all that she's been through, complimenting Lae'zel's immense drive of finding her own purpose and learning the ways of Faerun. Through Karlach she learns that not every problem has to end through bloodshed, but they can always still kick ass in the right scenarios ofc.

I find that larian made openings for all characters in different situations where a dlc can work Yet still they said not to make a dlc so I am confused why they left all these endings with an open page 🤔 Maybe for us to fill in the blanks with our own fantasy
