Hello my name is Andrew, I love building and making things with my hands. I want to show my work to you guys and hopefully inspire some people out there. I work for my familys construction company his builders. I’ve grown up in the trades and I have learned a lot in all my years of experience so hopefully I can also tech someone out there something new as well.

My dad always said locks keep honest people out. If a thief wants in they’ll get in. I lived in the city for a year. I never left anything in my car of value and didn’t lock the doors. Someone broke into every car in our apartment parking lot. Smashed windows all around. My car was unlocked. Clearly someone got in it. But didn’t break anything.
You need to replace your barber
Why did you decide not to remove the siding for the ledger board?
That’s what my boss wanted me to do. Made it cheaper for the customer
If you use a screw it won’t slip out just a tip
Yes, but if I where to drop all my tools and go to my truck and get a screw gun and screw out would have taken 3 times as long
@ tool belt.
I used to drive a nice old convertible with a good stereo system but I'd never lock the doors. I'd rather someone open the door to steal the stereo than replace the stereo and a top that cost more than the stereo.
Lock will only keep out an honest person if the shit bag wants to get in, He will, lock, or no lock.
Bet that wilk teach ya to not touch a sharp blade lol
I like it
I like it too
Why would they have to cut anything else of your trailer? If the locks not there you’re not making sense buddy unless you’re trying to say that you want to hire a security system, but at that point don’t even bother just ensure your stuff.
It's cool.
Thank you
Looks good.😊
Appreciate that!
Find a spot to back your truck up against a brick wall best method I found I know it's not possible for everyone
Replace a lock my guy you're not going to have a business without any tools what are you talking about
I didn't know u can cut a lock with a bolt.
All locks just make it a little harder to get in. It’s more of stop temptation if somebody wants in they’re getting in almost anywhere
My buddy locked up his stuff in a shipping container... Locked it up real good. The dudes cut the side of the shipping container open...
I ain’t never watch a video with no darn information to anything 😒🙄
With a BOLT I want to see that 😮😂
That’s why firearms were invented
Imagine thinking that people are around when they stuff gets broken into. Derrrrp
Get the locks like propane cages the big fat circle lock harder to cut too
thats carbide steel baby!
I didn't know you could cut a lock with a bolt 🤷🏻♂️ learn something new every day
I can get that off with a rock
Nine out is ten locks are just to indicate you are not supposed to go there. It's not really adding much security.
Learn something new Everyday....
Glad you leaned something new! Hopefully you’ll need to use it one day
Fixing my East German car parked in front of an Ace Hardware store made me learn this really fast. Pretty nifty system.
My grandmother always was saying locks are for honest people!
Don't forget your 2x4 stiffeners on each side of each Stringer makes it 10,000 times stronger and will last 10,000 times longer
First make sure they're all crowned up do not over cut and always strong back it, center treads get double strong back
If you don't know the difference between a tread and a stringer, you not only should not be working construction, you should not give ANY advice about construction.
Sorry I like to mix match words to see how many people catch it in the video
Those are stringers that you are cutting. Treads are the part you walk on.
Yes indeed
Looks good to me . . . I just learned that Trex 1" decking needs 12" centers.
Unfortunately yes. So many stringers
🎉
Thanks fire guy!
@@SolidGrooveyou don’t have to worry about your brother not letting you record
@1averageguy yup not anymore
You can put your weed in there
No I keep my weeds in the garden lol
They are going to regret that style of door when the purge begins
That’s a good point.
How much did it cost for the materials including the deck floor? Tls
I’m sorry I don’t have that information available. I was not responsible for buying everything.
So beautiful I love the light blue
Yes my dad built the whole thing out of white oak
@@SolidGroove wow that is impressing
Dude, you need to groom yourself man.
Dude got robbed on vocabulary
Words are hard…
@SolidGroove all good - by way of your other video - shaper scribe it seems we may be from the same descent. What is that router attachment or was it a shaper?
@@stevek9670 it’s called a shaper orgin. An awesome hand held router with the mind of a cnc machine. It’s a very fun tool
@@SolidGroove Thank you sir
I was told "the lock only keeps the honest people out" I took that as one way or another the right person wants in they'll try at all cost, so I see his reason why complicate the issues
Nice to see eye to eye
If someone is prepared to cut away your door to your trailer, do you really think they have bolt cutters on them.
You never know nowadays
Might as well just leave it unlocked then won't have to replace any broken locks anymore.
Well now that’s just too easy
Insurance won't pay then.
My dad always told me locks only keep honest people honest
Yes and they keep an unprepared thief broke
Dude, you should replace your toothbrush. They call you mellow yellow?
Naw it’s great running on 7 years
Locks only keep out the honest person
And a unplanned thief broke
In México we would tell you "te la mamaste" 🤣👌
You don’t like my bench? I think it’s cool
You’re not cutting anything besides butter with a bolt
lol yeah I guess so
So if someone picks or shims the lock open, they can get into your trailer, get back out and relock, and you'll never know
Yes I would never know.
Lol with it still attached to the vehicle, back it up to a wall if you can. Harder to steal a vehicle than cut a lock.
locks keep honest people honest
