Hi Im Allie Liliokalani. I'm a hairstylist of 15years working both behind the chair doing color/cut as well as a freelance wedding stylist. For years I was working 5days in the salon and doing 40-50 weddings a year. All the while getting booked more than a year in advance.
In early 2019 I had my first child, a beautiful baby girl. After having her I gave up both my clientele in the salon & for weddings in order to stay home with her full time.
After a few months I realized just how hard it is as a new mom to look and feel like YOU when you haven't quite lost the baby weight, your hair is funky from postpartum hair loss & you're left with only minutes in the day to yourself. The one thing I did to feel like me was style my hair.
That's where my years of being a hairstylist has come to save the day! I have SO MANY tips and tricks for styling hair, and styling it fast! And mama, I cant wait to share them all with you!

I teased my hair like a pachuca yesterday. It was a very high about 6 inches high and I needed to un-tease it. Saw this video and followed her directions in less than 10 minutes my hair was completely un-teased. Thank you for the help !

Hello. Thank you so much for this video! Just wondering after 3:55, where it starts to speed up… Wondering if after that layer you are adding the “middle” layers that have already been tied and twisted, to the bottom layers and splitting them in half. OR if you are letting all layers that have been tied and twisted just “fall” in the middle?
I feel so dumb because I think this should be self explanatory, but I cannot for the life of me use bobby pins successfully. They just don’t hold onto anything and I get frustrated and I give up
same 😭 someone just told me that once you get it in you have to rotate the pin like 180 degrees to actually secure it. haven't tried it yet but I hope I can finally make it work. I bought "spin pins" which are apparently better but my hairs too short still to make use of them
Wherever you put a pin, put another one across it to hold it in place, making an 'X'. This works for me, I hope that makes sense. 🤗
