a trans am is in the garage next...
Good discovery on the Cutlass floor. 👍
Seen a 70 monte Carlo a while back . Factory 427 with a 4 speed ! I was drooolin by the time i left . Lookin good brother !
There was NEVER a 427 ci factory Rat in the Monte Carlo from the factory. It was an KS5 or LS6 454 cud Chevrolet big block Rat V8. So if you saw a 427, it was installed by a former owner. There was NEVER a 70 Factory 427 inch V8. Check your facts before you post, brodie
@bobdavis3357 thats what the stickers under the hood on top of the radiator said . Thats what the valve covers said . Thats what the car dealer said . Geuss all that doesnt make it true . But someone went to a LOT a trouble to make it look factory ! According to the dealership it was custom ordered with the 427 . By the owner of the dealership ! But i geuss none a that makes it true either . I only talked to the guy for a half hour about it though
Nice 👍
Gotta be POR15
I always thought the Cutlass from '68 to '72 were the best looking of the "A-body" GM cars. Thanks for posting.
I'm more of a monte carlo guy myself but 68 is a special year.
Beautiful day out for a cruise !
Right on. 👍
Great looking car.
We agree!
Had a beautiful green ‘68 442; one of the fastest completely stock muscle cars I ever owned. I’m envious and happy for you, I’m sure it’ll be a fun project! Was rear-ended at a stop sign by someone doing 85mph; obviously it was totaled. Cried more about the car than the injuries. Thanks for sharing!
No need to be envious, these cars are everywhere and half the cost of a Chevelle! tons of these out there waiting to be rescued! Go out and find a project and get to work!
Beautiful! ‘68 is the year I was born. I see you too, Corvette! Is that a ‘68 as well?
Nope
Had one myself that it was a great little car
The seats 💺 that tilt 😎
Too bad it’s an automatic.
Listen to that Detroit beast scream, she sounds angry lol
Love the Burbs. I say feed em gas and they'll do anything you need them too. I bought my 1992 K1500 GMC Suburban SLE in 2017 from the original owner with 155,000 kms ( 96,000 miles ) and it now has 184,000 kms ( 114,000 miles. ). I too have the 4 x 4 shift on the floor. Its actually the same brilliant blue as yours except mine has as silver where yours is white. I live in Western Canada where Winters are long, cold and snowy. Its been a reliable great vehicle and plan on keeping it forever. Looking at your original equipment list if you plan to do any driving in snowy conditions add an Eaton Try-Trac to the rear end.
Love the truck
Thanks
My bday lines up with father's day too... and I am looking to buy the same car , same trim, and the same color. What are the odds? 😂
4 wheel . 186,000. Named TANK. Indigo blue, black wheels black grill black bumpers heavy tint. A classic cruiser.
Nice!! Now that I have this one it's really renewed my love for these so I'm already wanting a k2500 or k1500, I actually found my old k1500 sitting in a field, but it's rough! I bought it with 186k put a 4" lift and brush guard tons of lights roof rack and made it into a zombie apocalypse overlanding build, I did a lot of deep public land hunting and it worked awesome! When I got a nicer 97 my dumb azz sold it, it had like 200k and the guy drove it for a bunch of years, his wife worked with mine and she would always tell her how much they loved thing and how it was the best vehicle they ever owned. Maybe I'll stop by and take a video of it if they let me.
I got a 1999 . 1500 suburban . It’s a survivor.. ❤

Dude I got one too a 94 to be exact same trim silverado but with the 454 it does need a new transmission a shop messed up and killed the torque converter which has sadly destroyed the original 4l80e in it 230,000 miles and no rust at all faded paint but thats it besides the headliner I got a late model 4l80e lined up for it from a 04 with 93,000 on it should get it back on the road
That's a bummer about the trans but Good to hear you're saving it! I love these rigs! Good luck the project.
@@bmfspeedshop4562 thanks but we both own unicorns lol but I thought the only put the 6.5 diesel and 454 big block in the 2500s and up guess I am wrong
@@breakinggames6356my first one was a 1993 c2500 with the 350ci 480le, at that time I had 3 obs suburbans also had a 1995 c1500 and a 1998 k1500 all nice rigs and a square body so I offered them all up to the guy that owned the 1973 monte Carlo on Craigslist barter, he took my favorite "goldilocks" I named her as much as I love the truck i had to rescue the monte and it was my dream car! he was gonna use it as a figure 8 car had it gutted and sitting on snow tires .. But he needed a reliable daily since he had a kid in the way and that burb had 2500mi in the built 350 and was a beast. So after a long time and a lot of work I finally feel complete lol with our growing family this thing is already pretty much perfect! I'm working on the exhaust first and tune up.
@@bmfspeedshop4562 I plan to unleash the tamed beast that is the tbi454 its original version in the chevelle ss is way more respectable compared to the version I got seriously the chevelle makes 500ib of torque while my version only makes 382ib
@@breakinggames6356yeah don't let the numbers fool ya, with a few little things they wake right up! The only downside of the 454 is fuel and oil consumption lol, I plan to work over this rig and make it completely bulletproof for cross country trips!, eventually it'll get a built 355 with forged everything, roller cam, vortec heads, exhaust, etc and really set it up for reliable pulling.
I have 2 brand new subarus in the driveway and love them both.
I had quite a few of them Subaru's good simple reliable cars and excellent in snow, the new Subaru's are just gimmick AWD system useless and good for nothing,I have ran Subaru's for 35+years and would not thank you for a new one.
Mine has failed twice I’m gonna have to try this
How tall are you? Just asking to see if I can fit in it lol
These Chevrolet Chevette’s can be easily converted to V8 and more affordable for anyone
I have this go cart no engine I’m restoring it and changing color to blue
Absolutely love it I purchased an 88 Minnie Winnie and absolutely love it
can you show what hoses you have it hooked to?
👍👍

I currently drive a 2020 Si Coupe. I'm trading in the Si for the base model 2023 WRX Friday. I can't wait to drive the WRX. Doesn't look like this car has rev hang which is nice. Si has tons of it and it's one of the reasons I'm getting rid of the Si. After 5 years of owning Honda vehicles, I am switching over to Subaru. It'll be my first Subaru vehicle. I'm so goddamn excited to get the car.
The Honda is a really nice car! My buddy had a 6 speed in his and the car was surprisedly quick! Great on gas, but he did end up having issues with the clutch and warranty stuff done eventually sold it to carvana and made out ok! I tested out an accord and loved it except the CVT. I just rolled 10k miles on my WRX and I must say it's probably one of my favorite cars to drive! I'll be making an update soon as I get time.
@bmfspeedshop4562 I like the Civic as well but I don't like the rev hang and the clutches on the generation Si's I have are junk unfortunately. My dad and stepmom used to have a WRX and I drove theirs and I absolutely loved it. I've wanted my own WRX since then. Looks like a blast to drive. I can't wait to get it. Less than 14 hours to go and I'll be at the dealership getting it. So goddamn excited.
@@riley1733 so how much do you love it?
@bmfspeedshop4562 I love it. Best purchase I've made this year. No rev hang and the car drives awesome. Clutch is good in it too so that's good. Glad I made the switch. I had to get used to the clutch and shifting as I gotta shift and let the clutch out faster in this car than I did in the Si but I love this car way more and I absolutely love that there's no rev hang. All in all, I'm super happy with it and I have a blast every time I drive it.
@@riley1733 that's how I feel as well! Such an enjoyable car to drive! The clutch is different and very tight I'd say even compared to my 2023 Crosstrek 6MT it's way different clutch and shift feel.
Kool place. Thanks for stopping in, I appreciate it, I will ring the bell. 👍
We owned one - looked too much like a Camaro. The Cougar was a bit better looking.
@@veiledzorba I love the cougar looks as well but the thundbird as a extremely low drag coefficient and this resulted it better mpg! We get 26-29mpg in this car.
Who you gonna sue if you crushed by stand failure?
Would've liked to see the engine bay to see how it looks. Buddy of mine just put an LS4 in his white Grand Am and it's something else. Not going to turbo it, but those LS4's in a Grand Am make it fun regardless🤘
I want to buy a used 2023 6mt in about a year , thinking about getting an extended warranty on the vehicle now . Still want one they are awesome !
@@andrewalvarez5120 currently rolled 24k miles on and have driven coast to coast no other issues yet.
