You forgot the most important thing. He's a Peter Lorre impression. That's what all his pronunciation depends on. Watch Corey Burton performing him and the resonance is very different from where you've got it. You're pushing the voice forward when it really sits comfortably in the back of the throat.

I watched an interview with Ervin Kirchner, we are he instructed James Earl Jones to do a different kind of Vader voice. He wanted him to use a little less in flexion, and very little range, so that he didn’t quite sound robotic, but the timbre was different. If you notice, in the Empire, strikes back, he keeps his voice much steadier, and it actually seems more terrifying that way.
