I like the black one more than the pink and red one
Definitely the black one was the besttt🤤
Happened to me on FB Marketplace once as well. Fortunately I was able to prove the scam and my credit card company refunded. Basically, the seller never sent the Apple Watch, but sent an empty manila envelope via USPS to a NEARBY home. Once the USPS person scanned the "delivery", it closed out my sale. BUT, I had a driveway cam showing NO delivery at my home, and my USPS person was aware of the bogus delivery. SO bottom line, if the price is TOO good to be true, there's a high likelihood of it being a scam. Just purchase your items from a reputable retailer at the best price and then you don't have to sweat these scammers.
Why the gameplay is so laggy??
I think it’s probably because we forgot to adjust the resolution setting and frame rate😭
Nice vid! ^^ reminds me of my first time playing valorant^^. Oh yeah, he wasn't wrong about the sova tho, sova probably pre-aimed him already. But he could win if he swing wide on the sova. Glad that he enjoys the game^^. Good luck have fun guys! ^^.
Thank you!! I’m not sure if Stevo really enjoyed it but it was def funny lol😭
I got scammed 2 times when I was buying a Apple MacBook. The sellers/scammers have multiple accounts .They would stop messaging you when they get the money. They would either take the product off the marketplace or Facebook would restrict their account. They would create a new account and then list the same product they scammed you with. If you notice that the story is similar to other stories you saw on the same kind of product, then is definitely a scam. They would change their profile picture picture and the name. Always check when the account was made because it it was made 1year ago or not long a go, it is definitely a scam. If they tell you to chat outside of Facebook, that's a big red flag because is a scam. If they are impatient about the money you are gonna send them, then is a scam. If you wanna meet in person and the location is closer to you but they tell you that they are in different state (If it was listed and the location is listed in like New York and they tell you that they are in California or different state) and they want you to send shipping money, then is a scam most of the times. If you have any doubts about it then leave it. Be careful guys.
The pink is the best with extra cheese
That one is so good too!😭😭

As someone who buys and sells a lot on FBM. I cant believe you went all the way to opening it and didn't turn it on. I know it makes no difference me writing this. Not trying to put you down. But come on bro... 😢 And blaming it on social pressure is pretty lame. No amount of pressure should rush you to spend your money with uncertainty.
Just got addicted to the one in the black bag. So good!!

Thank you for making this video! 🙏
its good, but way too much sugar and calories. haha
I'm not sure what Facebook's policies are but if this was in the US the FTC the I believe that's the Federal Trade Commission gets involved in anything is done that resembles fraud or another crime that involves communication over Airways or electronically so Facebook Marketplace would fall under that. They may have a disclaimer that keeps you from being able to sue Facebook but that doesn't protect Facebook from having been the source or location for a person committing fraud and so they may be punishable if they don't do something to advocate for you even though they may have a blanket disclaimer that you have to sign to participate in the marketplace. It would be heartbreaking to have a brand new machine that's just what you wanted and not be able to access it but if I had to guess I would say there's no great prophet and that sort of scam unless there's something wrong with that machine. Either it's not brand new and it was from a corporation that replaced all of its machines with new ones. There's a secondary resale market for decent mid-grade and sometimes even higher grade machines when a company replaces all of its employees devices at once are most of them. They're sold on that market after being refurbished and if some of them are late enough models that they can be sold by scammers as new then they're probably not really new. I don't know if that company really exists because I haven't heard of it but you might want to check because maybe that company is really the scam organization and not the corporation where the uncle works I'm sure there's no uncle and the people you were talking to were probably the scammers Associates trying to figure out how much you know and misdirect you. They would want to know what your intentions were and how much you know so they could protect themselves and that's probably who you actually spoke to that was supposedly at giphy or whatever that company name is. It could be a device that was badly damaged internally in some way so it's not usable but looks very nice. There's so many ways that it could not be a working new machine. That probably doesn't help you in any way but maybe it will be less tragic than it would be to have a brand new beautiful machine that you just couldn't access. But do look into the Federal Trade Commission aspect of it and you definitely want to call the FBI and stuff like that because when you get to fraud at that level they're not just scamming one person. That sounds like a fairly sophisticated operation even if it's just a couple of people who have access to resale computers and packaging because shrink wrap is pretty easy to buy you can buy a shrink wrap device off Amazon for a couple hundred bucks and if they have access to some place that say delivers and sets up new computers for corporations it would be very easy for them to take the old ones shrink wrap them take photos of the new one serial numbers put the old ones in the Box and whether or not they took the cords and components and shrink wrap them to make them look new just put some of those things in there so that at first glance a decently cared for corporate laptop could look like a brand new device. I have a Dell XPS 13 bought in my graduate school days with a student loan so it was beyond my means but it was $1,500 back in 2016 and when you look at it now because it's well cared for it could look new and shrink wrap and it would look identical on the outside to the latest XPS and it's only the specs that are different. If you open it up you would see that the keys are a little worn because I used it a lot until last year and I have bought at least one replacement charge cord so that one looks pretty new and it would be easy for me to put that in a plastic baggie with the original guidebook and back in the original box and what would be most of $200 resale machine is now a 1600.00 Dell XPS. I think it's something like that where they are part of the company installing new computer systems for whole companies. They keep the boxes and they haul away the old machines and put them in those boxes and sell them to you after shrink wrapping them and putting the chords in enough packaging that you can't tell they're not new. Because when they give the laptops or desktops and set them up they're not giving those user handbooks to the employees. They may give a few to the owner of the company or the IT department but they're not going to leave a user handbook at every desk and so they can keep those. And sometimes the serial number is in a sticker that is pasted inside or on the back cover of that little guy book. So when you start thinking about the people who would have access to that packaging and a shrink wrapper and computers that looked just like what you wanted to buy but I might not actually be that one then that would be my guess it's something like that. And yes they would get really good at it and because they had this supposed wife at home they were telling you were good guys and the uncle that supposedly works at this company that you talk to I think it all sounds very well orchestrated. Probably the serial number they photographed is not the one on your machine. If it is that's an interesting twist. But I have to say that I have purchased one of those 2-year device protection plans for a laptop and within 6 months had my dog bite it and ruined the touch screen. Sending it off to that protection plan gave them the choice to repair it or give me a refurbished comparable which could have a lot more mileage on it and simply keep my device. If they repair my device it could be with cheap aftermarket replacement parts that don't have the quality or power or sensitivity or they could sell my machine as replacement parts that really make them a lot more money than selling the whole machine as an open box. But if they work in a company like that then they have access to all kinds of machines that look okay but don't work and that may still be under warranty. Because if something is not functional or Dead on Arrival that's covered under the warranty but if you damage it yourself then you'll help you have a device protection plan and that's where you'll send it. I think you're looking at some sort of operation like that. Might be just a single couple or a few people working together who have access to the new boxes and replacement machines and they're stealing just a few of them to sell this way whether it's from a device protection plan repair shop or a refurbished parts shop such as you find on eBay or someone who does Corporate Installation and setup who is keeping the boxes and the old machines and giving you stickers from the original or something. But yeah look up the shrink wrap machine by Googling it and you will see that they're not hard to get and because we're so used to thinking of that as something only the manufacturer can do we're really impressed by something still in the original wrapping. I hope you get some justice and thank you for sharing your story with us. It wouldn't hurt to call a news company and see if they know of scams like this because if it's a new thing going on it would certainly be an eye-catching story that I would watch period like a short documentary and you might be paid and you might be paid enough for your participation in it that you could buy a new laptop with cash from the manufacturer

facebook? first day?
Why would you even buy an expensive item on facebook.
I bought a brand new sealed MacBook last year thru fbook. I opened it up….. created a login and got into everything i needed to at the meeting location. Everything came out clean. And I’m still using it. They missed that final step of turning on the laptop and trying to get into it. No matter how weird or uncomfortable it is during the meeting, they should have tried to test it out.
Did you use PayPal G&S for payment? If so, I think PayPal can step in to help.
Unfortunately we did not use any of those. We paid in cash🥲😭

Buying laptop like dealing drugs lol, you should know something is up. Keep in mind kids, when you buy something big, you buy from somewhere you can personally go and ask for refund if things go wrong. I only buy big items from Costco/Walmart/Bestbuy. Whenever there’s a situation, I physically go there to clear things up. Only buy small things that you don’t mind to lose through online.
plese, contact the police and facebook, and dont give up, dont leave it. If you have to, pressure them to do something about this because this isn't ok. Isn't this also kind of illegal?
You’re right, we’re gonna report it to Facebook and will be looking into options. It’s definitely illegal…😔
@@DuoDimples Can probably go to the gas station, get the cctv of the person’s car, then send it to the police.
you can always check whether it has MDM profile during purchase.. the #1 rule, "If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is"
The laptop could also end up as a situation where the employee is allowed to keep the laptop but corporate access login is deactivated to prevent access to any corporate documents on the laptop which essentially renders the laptop bricked. Not stolen laptop but have access to it removed. It would either have to be completed wiped or used as parts in that situation.
It sounds like the really good deals are often stolen merchandise. Apple device cost is 95% of retail value. You might get 10% off new if you buy gift cards via promotions, credit card rewards, student discounts, etc. Anything more than 20% off new there has to be a reason and often it is stolen. Some companies specialize in selling excess equipment including laptops after 2-4 years as they buy it cheap from the company and these are the ones often end up on Ebay. Either refurbished or used. If used, it can also end up in a grey area though very rare. E.g. working for tech company for 1 month, issued new laptop, end up being laid off and the company lets you keep the laptop. Devices which do not have a fancy box and have extended warranty are often corporate sales.
if no response from other parties, you can try filing police report and contacting facebook support too. Since this took place on their platform. Keep us posted, best of luck
Thanks for the advice! We’ll definitely reach out to Facebook and file a report. Will definitely keep you guys posted!
If you paid through Paypal goods and services, or venmo, you can request a refund by filing a report! Check if you had buyer's protection!
Unfortunately we paid with cash, so I think there’s no way we can’t get the money back😭
ALSO. Sorry you got that scammed. that really sucks. I hate scammers. Scum of the earth. Cheers yall.
Thank you!😭
File a police report.......Do not just let it go. You could prevent other people from being scammed.
Facebook Marketplace is like old school Craiglist. You either deliver or get deliveranced. Everyone with a right mind has already boycotted Facebook, Meta, Instagram, the Oculus, etc.
From your story, it sounds like the seller themselves is absolutely lying to you. This is not her "uncle's" computer, it sounds from your story, that this seller has someone they know personally, who works or has recently left, the company from where this laptop came from. This laptop sounds like it was purchased in a bulk buy for the company, as a corporate fleet laptop. This is why the laptop didn't come up stolen, and with an extended warranty, because it was out of the corporate purchase for so many fleet laptops, they all get the extended warranty. What it sounds like happened, is the seller is affiliated with someone who works at that company where the laptop came from, and they stole it out of the corporate building, without the company even knowing yet whomever works for them, intended to swipe a laptop out of inventory, and intend to sell it behind the company's back without them knowing. This happens with rouge IT support people in large corporations, where the corrupt help desk support guy, doesn't think the company would notice, if he takes a laptop that was intended to have been repaired for something, and swipes it out of the office, in order to corruptly sell it in the private market. The way the rouge person in the company tries to get away with it, is to place the stolen laptop in the company's inventory system, as permanently damaged, and scrapped. This way their own bosses don't suspect any foul play, it's just perceived as the laptop is in some storage area in the company office, out of commision. Here is my suggestion on how to proceed. 1. Video screen record the entire Facebook messenger exchange between you and the seller, and place in the same screen record important identifiers such as clicking on their entire Facebook profile (in the screen record), and also clicking on any specific photos that the seller sent you over Facebook messenger, showing the serial number. The entire screen record should show as much detain about the communications, the photos, the ad, the seller info, as possible, so when law enforcement gets this screen record from you, they have as much possible evidence to go to a judge and get a warrant. This warrant can also be forwarded directly to Facebook, to obtain the seller's entire hidden identifiers, such as their IP address, real phone number, and anything else. 2. Carry over this screen record evidence video that you'll make, over to a brand new fresh USB flash drive. A small one (like a 1GB USB drive). 3. Go to your local police station, with the entire laptop and box at hand, and your USB flash drive with the screen record evidence. File a report for felony fraud, because any type of financial fraud that exceeds $500 in value, is no longer a misdemeanor case, it is a FELONY case at that point. 4. Have the police officer write down on a report your entire situation, give them the laptop, and the flash drive, and tell them you want a detective to be assigned to the case. Tell them you have reasonable suspicion at this point that you were indeed sold a stolen corporate laptop, even though the corporation itself that originally purchased the laptop from Apple, doesn't even know yet it may have been stolen. Tell the officer you are turning in the entire computer, to the police, as you do NOT want to be falsley accused later on, of having stolen a laptop yourselves, that may have not yet been realized to have been stolen, by the corporation that bought it from Apple. 5. Contact a higher up director of IT at the company where you believe the laptop may have been secretly stolen from, and tell them that their own laptop, has been submitted to your police department. And suggest the higher up IT director to work with your local police department, and narrowing down who could have been the rouge employee, that swiped the laptop out of the office, to have attempted to sell it in secret in the private market. You can INDEED get your money back, but it would have to have been AFTER a police investigation can confirm the laptop was never supposed to have been sold off by any private person at that time, and the police will trace both the man and woman who you interacted with, and took your money. Police investigators can also easily get the surveilance footage of the meeting place where you met, to even further solidify the ID of the man you met who handed you the machine. They can get the video footage from any nearby security cameras easily. Don't be a victim here, take the laptop to the police, and give them all the digital screen recordings they need to track these acammers down. And finally, a word of advice when buying ANY Apple gear, from a fellow Apple pro that I am. Do NOT buy ANY used Apple tech in the private market, unless it's from eBay where you can see thousands of transactions on one seller, and there is tighter investigational accountability by eBay, if there was a scammer seller. Scammers love Facebook marketplace for high ticket electronics, because there is less consequence by Facebook themselves, to penalize the account if there was any complaint of fraud. The ONLY places I buy my own used Apple gear, is not even on eBay, and never on Facebook. The TOP place to buy used Apple gear, is from Apple themselves. You just scroll down all the way to the bottle of their main Apple homepage, where there is a section of their website called "Certified Refurbished" where Apple themselves, guarantee the quality of their own used Apple inventory. The only two other places online that are trustworthy, are a website called "MacSales" and another website called "MacOfAllTrades", and these 3 options I've listed, are the ONLY options for used Apple gear, that you know are absolutely legit. Don't ever buy any Apple stuff from a private person, it is literally a 50/50 chance of being an ulteriorly motivated sale.
Thank you so much for taking time out of day to leave this comment. This is super helpful!😭
