Haha oh! In a few videos on the channel I’m in it but as I don’t fancy being on camera that much, it doesn’t happen often 😂

I’m using Bricqer as syncing software, it’s for smaller stores quite expensive with a minimum of €50 a month or 3% fee. But in the end it has a lot of integrations and is quite time saving and powerful which makes it worth it for our store at least!

Yeah always feels good! Can’t wait to upload them to the stores 😁

Yes when I restarted the store we chose to use Bricqer again!

We have enough drawers to put each head we have seperate by the color, so just 1 yellow head each drawer, we do mix colors so there can be yellow, black, white and nougat head in one drawer

@@UnsortedBrick Okay, and how do you find drawers which can again hold for example yellow heads because the previous ones are sold out? I mean, I think you can't always store into new drawers? I would find a video interesting where you show your upload and store proceedure. :)

I’ll try to incorporate it in the coming vlog! But we always just check drawers and if they have a head then we go to a next one!

I’m having a great help in Mrs Unsorted! Alone with the day job I wouldn’t be able to achieve it so fast! Also had some things come on our path which made it possible, without it wouldn’t be so rapid!

I’m in the process of buying a store, that’s where all the new Lego is coming from recently, we do it in parts so that I can pay for it in parts!

Geen gekke vraag! We maken geen gebruik van kostprijs op bulk used Lego, het enige waar we over het algemeen de kostprijs van invoeren zijn new aankopen/partouts en dan ook minifig hauls omdat we die per aankoop verwerken op het moment. Voor de rest houden we dit niet bij omdat we van de marge regeling gebruik maken via Bricqer. Ik kan me niet de context waarin ik het zei herinneren op het moment, dus die kan ik helaas niet toelichten. Kostprijs vind ik persoonlijk ook niet heel interessant omdat we weten welke kg prijs voor ons werkt om een goede marge uit used te halen. De keren dat we het wel willen weten om te leren er van voeren we uiteraard een aankoop los in en komt het niet op de grote used berg. Hopelijk heb ik je vraag goed beantwoord, zo niet laat het even weten!

@@UnsortedBrick​​⁠ah, lijkt me lastig om te zien wat elke fig kost, voor je voorraad-/inkoopwaarde met belasting etc. Of berekent bricqer een gemiddelde inkoopprijs op basis van de gemiddelde verkoopprijs? Ik zag een andere verkoper die voor elke part gem. 2,2 cent berekende maar klinkt nogal lastig.. Ookal weet je welke kg prijs voor je werkt, ben je wel verplicht dit door te rekenen naar je prijs per partn om uiteindelijk je winst te berekenen?

Dat is inderdaad lastig, om te zien per fig, ook Bricqer doet dat niet op die manier meen ik. In principe voer ik alle aankopen en verkopen op aan een accountant, die krijgt ook gewoon de voorraadwaarde door en op basis daarvan wordt alles berekend, persoonlijk ben ik er niet tot op dat detail niveau mee bezig en laat ik die kant over aan een accountant en lever gewoon de data aan. Ik ken store eigenaren die dat wel doen en interessant vinden, die zitten ook in de Discord die in de beschrijving staat! Mijn plezier haal ik uit het groeien van de business, mijn pijlers waar ik naar kijk is of de inventory waarde en omzet stijgen, de rest laat ik over aan mensen die daar meer verstand van hebben. Uiteindelijk als ik dit full-time ga doen moet ik wellicht er meer induiken, maar ik laat vooral de mensen die er verstand van hebben de cijfers met de belastingdienst regelen :D

@@UnsortedBrick klinkt logisch, maar dat maakt het voor een particuliere bricklinkverkoper wel lastig als hij/zij dit zelf moet doen! Aangezien ik dit overweeg en niet zeker ben om meteen een kvk te starten, is het twijfelen wat het beste werkt zonder teveel lasten. Voorlopig met sealed of complete sets zal ik daar naar verwachting geen last van hebben totdat de parts gaan komen.. haha! Bedankt voor de toelichting.

@@Dutch_Diaper Mijn advies is om de Discord te joinen, daar kun je terecht voor al je vragen, er zitten 100+ NL/BE verkopers in die elkaar helpen met alle aspecten zo wat. Maar als particulier beginnen is lastig, tegenwoordig ben je al snel aan de gang met een kvk door de DAC7 regeling Succes met het starten van deze mooie hobby :)!

Yes for now the eBay store is closed, with the amount of sales it didn’t make sense to keep going as the cost of running it was higher then the profits. Maybe in the future we will try again!

Hard to say, we are on track for it but it slowed down a bit, only time will tell how it unfolds! 😁

I bought them at local shopping platforms in the Netherlands like bol, hbm machines. They are indeed quite expensive but also quality is good, they are generally good available so you can always get a hold of the same ones to expand too

I'm using Brickognize for identifying parts, it is built-in with Bricqer so that's why it might look different! I scan with Brickognize, then go to the bricklink page and try to figure out which figure it was, there might be other apps out there, but I'm not familiar with them

Thank you! When doing this the baseline is 1/3 of the 6MA with some tweaking in regards of what the store has to offer. So that’s a general rule of thumb for me, each buy could be a variant on that. The only way the store would move out of the apartment is when we would move ourselves, it still will have some room for growth but after fully integrating this store we will hit limits at some point.

@@UnsortedBrick Cool, this seems to be the most widely commonly used margin for acquiring Bricklink stores. Well, the advantage for you is that it's already sorted + the quality has been inspected so this saves you a lot of time. Great deal! I see, you're not planning to make it grow out of the appartment yet. After a day of work it could be a big boundary to get out of the house to some kind of storage/store location and start picking orders, which I understand!

No indeed the comfort of doing it from home is the reason why we do it mostly, I’m pondering to do some Pokémon and maybe sets from a remote location and then ship from there twice a week or something, but that’s for the future! Right now we need to work hard to acquire the other store!
