In case you didn't know I was 9 hours on the road. There were plenty of ppl to stop and help out. I was lucky just to get through that instection and stay out of the way. You were not there Armchair Quarterback.
Stopping to help today can get ya put in a casket. It's nuts out there.

When I see these, I like to be able to see how it started so I can decide who I think is at fault for it. When you cut it to close to the start of the action, most of us are at a loss to see what went wrong at first.

No. Back then people didn't have car or health insurance, cars weren't as safe, they didn't have dash cams to prove who was at fault, they would try to make it about the sex or race of the driver. Today we have people who stop and help, back in the day people were all about minding there own business. The past was not a good place to live, that's just called the golden age fallacy.

You sure can! That intersection is bad for accidents. We were returning from North Carolina to Western Pennsylvania that day. On the road for 9+ hours and 12 miles from home. Go figure,

My wife and I were there with our 2004 TJ in 2019. We had a great time My wife took the off road driving course for women and found out she actually likes driving off road. Which of course gave me carte blanche to get some suspension upgrades. I bought some good Clayton long arm suspension upgrades and a beefed up the Dana 30 with a WJ brake upgrade up front and a Ford 8.8 in the rear both using Artec brackets and trusses. WE will be back next year, this time to hit some of the trails.
Yep, this is a fun time! If you are in the general area, The all breeds jeep festival in York PA is cool. Granted they don't have the trails Bantam does.

Where did you get the other cable from?
Wow long time! I had to re-watch the video! That particular product came with the wiring adapter. It plugs into the third brake light harness. I need to get back here and put out some post pandemic content. Thanks for watching!
How is it holding up after all this time?
To be perfectly honest. It's not I had nothing but problems with it. Oracle tried to help me. but my JKU got totaled in 2019. I now drive a JLU. I would not not recommend it. A 1,000 lesson learned.

Man it probably be a quick repair. If the parts are painted right.
they had it for four days while I was on vacation. I was a little apprehensive about repair work to aluminum, but they did a great job. I've used this shop for years. Thanks for watching and the comment!
Saw this video on mega driving school. Didn’t see where it was but I recognized the area! I drive through there for work everyday! I believe I recognize the red Jeep also! Glad your okay!
That was at the intersection of 119 south in Youngwood (about where the Burger King is) I was coming down the hill from up around the UPS facility to grab some lunch when the guy blew the red light. Fortunately no injuries. Jeep was totaled by the insurance company.

You certainly can! This occurred late February of this year in Youngwood, PA. Route 119. I was crossing Rt. 119 on a green light when an older guy blew the red light and hit the rear wheel, spun the Jeep around and it went over. I've used this video in safety briefs where I work (chairman of the safety committee) The rig was totaled, so I am now in a new 2018 JLU. Oh yeah, no injuries. BTW...Check out the video I posted yesterday called "A Close Call" very similar scenario. And one final video to look at called "Dang Deer" I use this one every fall.

First Gen.... a long sad story. they sent me new DRL's and turn signals but the double stick didn't hold. in the mean time, I replaced with stock to pass inspection. THEN my JKU got totalled by some a$$$hole. Now I drive a JLU and the grill sits in pieces in my garage. I did get my money from the insurance company. Totally sux.

Totally! (not to be Punny) dropped it off this morning for repairs.
Jeez you can't catch a break lately. Glad your okay. I stay as far away from big commercial trucks as possible. I'm a professional truck driver and I've seen this happen enough to be very careful and keep a safe distance.
As a rule, I do that. I usually drop the hammer and get past the driver as quickly as possible. You guys don't want me there either. This driver siad he never had a blowout before and the tires were like 6 months old. The owner of the company siad the same thing. I just glad it didn't take my head off!
@@talezfromthedashcam3138 Yeah I usually do the same if I cant get by because of traffic I just fall behind a few truck lengths in my Jeep. I for the most part follow that rule always when Im on the road whether in my tractor or Jeep. Also blindspot or not I dont stay beside a big truck at highway speeds...noone should. Thank God for Yinz guyz...I don't know how you do it with so many A-holes in 4 wheelers. With the 2 accidents I'm super paranoid when driving.
