Sophie's FIRST NIGHT session...carp, hot tub and sharing a bed!
Overnight session at Mill Lodge Retreat in Essex. Sophie and I fished from Pod 5 on this beautiful lake. We managed to get one on the bank in less than 24hrs of fishing. We had so much filming this session with many laughs, enjoy watching.

@thomasthetankengine2257 only know it as osprey lake. Not sure what/where lake 2 is but there are quite a few different fishing lakes at Tattershall.
That was brilliant. Nice to see some of the ladies enjoying the sport. My ex got a right monk on when I went. Those 2 would brighten up any day. Well done ladies. 👍

@davidhughes5998 no, I always have my bait separate to the hook ie hair rig, as I want the hook exposed to help with self hooking. Hope that helps.

Looks like the Carp had a cleft mouth...You were unlucky with that first Carp...Got it so close to the net and it comes off...So annoying when that happens...Especially when it is the first fish of the day...Better look next time babes.

Just wondered if you could recommend a carp lake with a cabin and private fishing pod for a couple of nights, birthday present? Thanks
@@andrewwintle1596 depends on budget, location and who you going with. Places for a couple of nights...Westmoor, woodlakes and recently I went to Mill Lodge lakes in essex with pods. There are some lovely places in the cotswolds. Cherry lakes has some lodges on a stunning lake. Likewise, Devon has some great looking locations but I've not down that way yet. Even tattershall lakes is great if you can get a weekend and if you have a family to take with you then they have things to do there too.
It’s just for me and my partner so only me fishing and a little get away for her! I’m in Gloucestershire!

@@ChubHarrison0708 exactly, plus I get amused by the comments. So many think I left the bail arm off but the rod just wasn't pushed together enough. You can see it go off down the line in the direction I've cast it. 🤣🤦♀️

Ahh we just missed you, we fished Pod 6 and managed a couple of fish on the last night. We absolutely loved it at Mill lodge and will definitely be booking again soon 😊

It's a lovely place Mill Lodge. Normally fish in pod 2 as it near the shower and toilets. The only thing we had was we got charged an extra £60 to fish.

Hi girls great watch and cracking fish but unfortunately the aerator is there to keep the water quality tip top during all conditions especially in the warmer months it’s not a snag by any means as the hoses are sunk it’s actually a great feature to fish off, the Wi-Fi can be temperamental due to rural area but it’s free of charge and works fine on the TVs what we installed it for hope to see you both again soon tho and glad you had good trip ❤️
@@MillLodgefishery-s2x ah perfect good to know the hoses are sunk. WiFi wasn't working on TV well but then every WiFi isn't great at times so wasn't a problem. I think the Carp are starting to like the aerator so it will probably be a great feature now it's settled in. I would love to come back, we both loved the set up of the place, food was incredible as well as service and the Carp was in perfect condition. Next time I come I'm booking Pod 1 early 🤣. Such a lovely venue and I've had lots of messages from other anglers who are now looking to go to Mill Lodge after seeing how great the set up is. Thank you 💜
