Happy Birthday Kurt Donald Cobain.
Kurt loved the Beatles.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Pennyroyal Tea. For me, the two songs are inextricably linked. It's as if they share some cryptic contemplation on the human experience between them. Somehow, the titular prospect of a guitar weeping from the Beatles White Album, released in 1968, is realized by Nirvana's Pennyroyal Tea guitar solo in 1993. I listened to Pennyroyal Tea first and when the guitar solo started playing I remember thinking how much it sounded like Kurt Cobain's guitar was crying. It was a powerful way to further add to the song's emotional impact. When I came across 'The Beatles' (aka the White Album), specifically While My Guitar Gently Weeps, I both immediately liked the song and recognized parallels to Pennyroyal Tea.
I've wanted to make this edit for so long and hope it does both songs justice.

The title isn't "Kurt Cobain tells jokes" This is an edit of his sense of humor. A person's sense of humor shows itself in a lot of different ways.
@@rebellious-jukebox-on-film238 I think people convey their sense of humour through joking around and making jokes. And just to clarify I wasn't complaining about the video.
@MissDerpina2606 I appreciate that you weren't complaining about the video. I even like that you commented at all cuz engagement is awesome, but in my opinion, making jokes is only one way of showing a sense of humor. Some of the funniest people I know aren't funny because of any jokes they tell, but the deadpan way they say something, a look they give, or a response to an awkward situation making it even more awkward.

Kurt was a good guy.
He always tried to make people laugh and be kind, even while he was struggling with depression, drug addiction, and his identity. I've noticed he and David Bowie are really similar in that sense. If I were to go back in time, I'd meet either one, because they both had a very unique way of thinking and writing songs. I think that's why Kurt covered The Man Who Sold The World, because he felt and related to what David was singing about.

I mean he did actually wear dresses around his house at times, theres a decent amount of footage and pictures so that part wasn't a total joke atleast
It absolutely was not a joke. I've made several videos on my channel including either pictures of Kurt wearing dresses or his direct quotations explaining his feelings about femininity and/or toxic masculinity which would be against his wearing dresses. I included it in this particular video because of the way he shrugged it off so carefree at the end, like it's no big deal. Because people who identify as men wearing dresses is no big deal.
