Practicing journalism amidst hate speech and incitement to violence
In this interview, Christine Nguku, a veteran Kenyan broadcast journalist and the Assistant Director of Training and Curriculum Development, Media Council of Kenya, discusses the responsibilities of Sudanese journalists in an environment filled with hate speech and incitement to violence. She also discusses the journey of Kenyan media as it professionalised in the wake of Kenya’s 2007/2008 post-election violence.

He is a liar! He very likely applied for refugee status and he came with this story. Many Africans who migrate come with lies. The West are gullible folks who do not realize these folks who seem stupid are the most manipulative folks on earth. If they investigate very closely, they will find out he is a liar. But alos, this type of foundation/ NGO are sometimes not there for justice. They are the hidden weapons of Western powers who use these guys to fulfill their agenda!

The ICC is just another entity. Like a neighbor. And it is not above the freedom of states. States have created it and can delete it. The freedom of states is the conditio sine qua non of the ICC. International relations cannot be gouverned by any constitution or the state would no longer be a state. They could give Bashir to the ICC or not. What they did was above the constitutional court. The base of PIL and the limits of municipal law.
