what country do you live in Emily cat? because im in California and it is freezing!
Hi Gifaffe4Lifer l.m Australian and live in Melbourne, the capital city of the state of Victoria. There are a few cooler days and then it's high 30's again by the weekend. We are having a very hot summer.
@ Well I hope it gets better! I live in Sacramento!
Superlate comment, but I'm currently searching for strike/ellacott stuff everywhere to manage the thirst-phase until The Hallmarked Man. 😁 So thanks a lot for your clip! I totally agree, the books get better and better, this woman is such an amazing storyteller.
you are an inspiration
It’s a great Sunday isn’t it?
Yes it is. 😊 But it's Monday here
have a great day!!!!
Woah that is very cool! Have a good day emilycat176!!
You too Giraffe
that's a bummer that their closing!
Yes it is Giraffe.
Hi, I think you should have put up a spoiler alert, for this video. 😞 It is worth getting the background to Feathers McGraw, he first appears in Wallace and Gromit the Wrong Trousers, and that he is a master of disguise. There are many other background characters. I think a little background would be useful to your enjoyment of this franchise, watching the earlier films helps, there are also reference to older British films, such as 'The Italian Job' as well as James Bond films and either Get Smart, or The Man From UNCLE. I think you can enjoy 'Superman IV, The Quest for Peace' as a stand alone film, but some background in who 'Superman' is and how he came about is useful, maybe. Some idea of Kryptonite, Lead and/or Tea, Jam on Toast, Cheese and their relevance to the characters enhances the plots.
@@stephenlee5929 Thanks for the comment
Thanks for sharing this. I just learned his book by the same title is entering public domain this year (2025). That's how I found your video. I was searching to see if the book was online anywhere. He's an overlooked poet. I only learned about him earlier this year while reading an anthology from back in the 1970s. I'm not into horror/crime fiction but I'm fascinated that there's a horror crime poet (beyond Poe). Another poet of creepy poems is Helen Adam, though hers are more like fairy tales gone wrong.
have a good day emilycat 176!
Never got into it, but I was younger then. Might give it a rewatch now.
Havent seen it yet but I am a big fan of the studio that makes Wallace and Gromit. Love the chicken run films and also flushed away. Have you perchance seen those films?
No l haven't seen any Chicken Run Films. I'm seeing another film in the next few weeks. Very different to this one.
@emilycat1765 Highly recommend the Chicken Run films, I feel like you would enjoy them
Wallace and Gromit is a very great film, and I'm glad you liked it!
Love the story! Keep it up! 😁
you're awesome
Thank you so much:)
you’re welcome
I think audio books are having the beneficial effect of sharpening the listening and aural comprehension capacities of “readers” of such books. In pre-literate socieities, stories were memorzed, then shared. We have lost that, and perhaps we’re getting the skill back… Thanks for your videos, Emily, from Michael in Florida.
Thanks for the comment Michael
hope you having a great day Emilycat176!

This is so true!! I can do laps around the same bookshop for HOURS! I love it so much. I also have gotten sick of owning books myself, which is why I’ve been trying to only use my library LOL
So relatable
I love bookstores as well lol. Perhaps go to the library and check out your books so you can just return when done. :) Have a great day!
I also cannot resist "browsing" a bookshop! I can say my stack is much larger than yours unfortunately hahaha
good morning!
Good morning Gifaffe4lifer
You read alot of books!
Hi, l like reading and a lot of other arts. Thanks for the comment. 😊
@@emilycat1765 Ofcourse!
Big fan of Clive Cussler! You are correct that he had co-authors on many of his books. I didn’t mind it too much because I had grown fond of the characters and realized he was getting older and maybe needed a jumpstart with another writer. That was OKAY by me because like I said, I really liked the characters and as long as they stayed true to them I could live with the both the coauthor and Mr Cussler. I only remember reading one story that I felt I could have written or rather co -wrote better. Clive Cussler has been one of my favorite Authors since I discovered him in 1983. Keep reading him and I look forward to hearing your opinion about it in a future video.
Emily, thank you for your very lovely tribute to the MCO - you give us great encouragement to continue to perform beyond the centre of Melbourne.
My pleasure Fran. It was a wonderful concert and both my channel, and website, are all about suburban Arts.
