I'm still getting use to it , but feels lighter and more agile . Less effort to manoeuvre . The only awkward thing , the placement for the carry handle is very far back . Close to the mast , I would prefer a little more forward . Still a sensational board .

Sup foil , or stand up paddleboard foil . It would be awesome if you were the first one in your country to foil .

At this stage I've only used the 1201 in small surf , the 1099 was my foil for bigger surf . I would like to see how the 1201 goes in the bigger surf . I have noticed already reducing the size of the rear stab , faster , easier to pump , take off . But on the PNG 1300 it would handle bigger waves . So applying that to the 1201 and 1099 will make it interesting . I will add in my future comments .

Small surf I use the Axis PNG 1300

It is the Starboard 7 foot 140 lt board , with the Axis PNG 1300 foil & 475 stab . I weigh 96kg , I could definitely drop to a smaller board , maybe 12o lt , but not 98lt . I would have to loose alot of weight . Smaller board for a smaller person .

In small surf like this I use a Axis PNG 1300 and for bigger surf Axis ART 1099 , super happy with both . I was using Naish foils , but these have a higher aspect ratio , more speed , more glide .

@@rogersellars4306 good stuff. I've recently picked up an old 1300 & love it for light wind winging. I'm yet to try it sup surfing on my DW board as getting small waves that peak then mellow out are hard to find here.

10 ft 2 , 180 lt , I'm 95 kg and holds me easily , very stable , suitable for filming video's , yet you can still throw it around on a wave .

I started with to small a foil { 1600 cm square } went straight to Naish 2450 , which got me going . [ with a board with 150 lt ] . Mast 65 cm .What helped the most was wing foiling , it gave me time to place my feet correctly and get up gradually . When you take off in the surf , you milli seconds to get your foot placement right . Once I got comfortable , I progressed to bigger waves , smaller foils and longer masts . I now use a Axis PNG 1300 in small surf and the Axis ART 1099 in bigger surf .

Hi Rod , Adder Rock is on the North facing side of North Stradbroke Island , Queensland Australia . Only a small island with some of the best beaches in the world . With beaches facing North and South , there is usually somewhere to surf , and a beach to suit foiling .

Reached 28 km/h which is my fastest speed in the surf .
