Oh my GOD I FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET A SIMILAR SOUND. Trying to replicate the amalgamated choir was something else, but I managed to get the BASE of it down. It needs a LOT more work, but I am happy I managed to achieve a similar tone.
If you attempt to recreate this song at some point, expect to mess around with the pitch of MANY CHOIRS.
Also dog noises. Literally. Dog barks are in this song.

The theme that pushed the already beginning of a new era in Nintendo gaming... Credit to Koji Kondo for originally making this great theme in Ocarina of Time. Merry Christmas Eve, or Day if you're ahead a day. I liked how the strings nicely replaced the organ on this one. I was testing the Voice and the Piano, but neither of it seemed to fit. Emphasis on "played": I don't think the SNES could play this at its fullest without skipping instruments like it did in the battle with Ganon from ALTTP if too many sounds are played at once. Sections such as immediately after the intro plays seven instruments at once, leaving only 1 audio channel open for sound. Due to only 3 Gorons appearing throughout Adult Link's travels INSIDE Goron City, the original melody was heavily dumbed down to an ostinato to show the unliveliness around Link. The bent drum and cuica will occasionally appear throughout the song. The bass marimba melody from the OG plays at a different scale and pretty much an entire octave down.
