The Loire Valley is very beautiful. I went there in 1986 and took my Mother, my Aunt and my 2 year old son - all 4 of us in an old touring caravan, towed by a small Volvo hatchback. We had a wonderful summer, which is still very vivid in my memory. It's hard to fathom that my son is now 40 with 3 children of his own. I've been an avid reader for 65 years and that summer I read Jilly Cooper's Riders. I've very much enjoyed reading your books so I hope there are more to come. I would hate to think that the current situation in the US might affect your writing as your books have so much fun and joy in them. I have a great deal of sympathy for American women in these troubled times. Best wishes from the snowy North of England. 🩵

I hope you truly believe what you said. Numbers of followers, numbers of sales, numbers of anything don't make a book great or not great. It's the middle of the night and I can't think straight.. but, I want to tell you something... it's the middle of the night and although my brain went to sleep a few hours ago.. I am trying hard to put into words the fact that your books are pretty darn good. Your narrations are also fantastic! I just got into audiobooks not long ago (actually your Baby Maker I think.. was one of the first ones I ever heard.. and loved it! (was your first voice narration too I think))... anyway... if just for the effort of my poor sleep typing brain lol......... For someone like me who is neurodivergent.. to be able to actually transport into the story and feel the emotions of the characters via the narrator... that is a feat. And you and your books have done that. So... fck it all and keep doing what you love until you don't love it anymore because you don't love it... not because others make you feel like you don't!.... hahaha.. so eloquent i am. but you get me I think... uff.. not going to even edit or review what I wrote here.. cuz I will end up erasing it all. Hang in there girl! When I wake up I will contact you to see if I can give you a hand with marketing... it's all in the marketing... see you later!! 2:19am... !!
