Grab a dinghy from the docks with the narrow piers in LS and drive it to that plane's crash site. You're wearing subs gear when you exit the boat. Dive down to those stairs and find the $225,000 rail gun. You'll find much more cool stuff not available to buy. Rail gun rounds cost $100 but one armor car job earns 35-70 rounds. You should replay the assassination missions. It's the only way to afford good property. In this mission you put all your money in fruit shares before killing, wait a couple days to double the investment and sell. Buy facade shares, wait for any increase and sell. You do this for all three characters. Only vapid is bought after you kill. You should do the first assassination but never start the rest until after getting paid for the big heist. Tacticians are given a goal, gather all the information about the goal, determine the correct and fewest resources needed, stage those resources close and act when conditions are best. All plans change the moment actions start and must be flexible. Locate the industrial area on the map, scout the region for exits, park the getaway car close, gather masks/suits/vehicles, wait until 5am and start. Lessons I learned planning sorties for Desert Storm. You can't play this without stealing cars because personal cars aren't available everywhere and some random events need a quick departure. All skills levels start differently for each character and improves with use. Trevor flys better than Michael so I use him to fly around like I use Franklin on a motorcycle. Hmm...you fought great on the roof and flew the chopper without problems. Good job! The Z-type car is a mandatory night mission and if you slow down you'll stop destroying everything you drive. Every mission has alternatives. They can be as easy or hard as you want. Kill Chad no police for instance. It's rarely mentioned but characters that avoid doing violence get a 10% discount at stores. It's handy at ammunation. Find armor and an automatic shotgun in the tunnel used for the jewelry store job. Find a sniper rifle by a telescope on the left side of the observatory. The $225,000 rail gun is found in the Alamo Sea after the Merryweather plane crashes. My favorite - the Altruist camp where you find a RPG, 2 superior armor and another automatic. Anytime you succeed in a mission it's a win. For the best experience pay attention to the instructions. The heist is in the industrial area. Park the get away car close to it. You started the mission in daylight but took so long it got dark. Some start at night and finding the snipers is even harder. You started the next mission at night 😢. It wasn't a race until after the cars are taken. By the time your back in LS the car is so badly damaged you destroyed it. That was a first! Big tip - driving fast is only required for timed events. I've seen players run over key NPCs while aiming for pedestrians, kill Franklin because they always ran over motorcycles and miss great random events always driving fast. Had to see another post after your last. Everyone has a different goal playing GTA5. Some just do story missions to finish quickly, others also do side missions. You're the first I've seen lose Lazlow lol. Some missions are impossible to complete early because of cut scenes like this one. No one can catch him until that scene. If you approach the observatory on the left, near a telescope is a free sniper rifle. The morgue was fun to watch. I'm surprised you didn't get killed. Good job and thanks for this post. I thought I'd see everything until I watched you. Most walk to tha vantage point and use a sniper rifle before approaching the house. You drove to the house for a full on frontal attack amazing! There was no way to succeed without dieing multiple times yet you persisted congrats. There's a weed farm at the dead end road north of the O'Neil's. Check it out for big money. Thanks for posting.
