Where did you take the course? The course that you took has externship?
Hi, I want to ask you how did you learn how to communicate effectively? I mean I see you have good body language skills. I need some tips on that because I don't use my hands to speak.

Hey ! I want to become a cma but through the online path … what online program did you use ??
currently i. the stage of doing my phone / in person interviews for my MA program and i can’t wait but nervous !
I have a Bachelors in Public Health and chose the Associates and most of my credits has transferred so learning just those few classes in the MA is helpful. The program is helpful because it gives you experience in clinicals and front office structure as well. I would say if you want to start off seeing patient the MA program would be preferable. You do have other programs such as, LPN CMA, they all are great!
I must say, there is a difference between the Associates versus the Diploma program. Associates degree have a few more class added versus the Diploma. They are the same but the Associates have more classes than the Diploma degree.
I supposed to be starting soon as a pediatric medical assistant but i am scared. I’m currently a PCT right now working in day surgery and med Surg so this is new for me.
Your amazing hope you’re channel grows like wild fire im going to start my MA program in January and then work towards my bachelors your channel motivates and excites me for the future! Keep being great ❤
I'm going to school be a CMA. I'm nervous but excited. Thank you for the video! 🫶

What the difference between medical assistant vs clinical medical assistant? Is it the same education and Job wise or is one better or more known than the other
Why do you peel your tomatoes? ...just curious
Please the alarm gave me anxiety 😟😂
Hey, I am currently in college, my major is health communication. I am now looking into some programs in nyc for cma or rma. I know it will be a while to get my bachelors degree, so I want to be able to do something else that I am interested in. Ive always wanted to be in the medical field whether if I am in the front desk, being a nurse, anything. I like being in the front desk and doing it's duties. But me being an over thinker, I am scared to actually do the program and if it turns out to be successful , I am quite nervous if I mess up someone's visit meaning, what if I write the wrong information or say something wrong to the patient, you know? Plus, for this program it is EXPENSIVE. I am a bit stuck on what to do. Any tips??
Do Queensborough’s Medical Assistant Program!!
Hi there, I been a Preschool teacher for 13 years and just finished my CMA class and going for externship. What do you recommend taking which exams?
hey girly i’m in college rn to become a MA but do u remember having to take “ prerequisite classes” before taking the actual MA program ? that’s what i have to do rn first
girl no , look for a local adult school in your area, trade school or something thats what im doing its better than college
@@beatrissxo girll so did you just get into the program ? i go to HCC and i have to take some courses before getting into the program ..
@@beatrissxo where do u go ???
@@francescamartin in Normal? I go there too lol. I’m actually in the Medical Assistant program currently doing my clinicals! Love Ms. Stearns!!
Do Penn foster it's completely online and self paced (no due dates!)
I want to become a nurse is being a medical assistant good to do?
It’s a great way to become a nurse! It helps with experience 😁
Are you working as a Medical Assistant while in nursing school?
i want to see how u organize for sure!!! please
Post back a day in my life as a medical assistant x
Hi Vale, I love your vlog, and omg 50-60 patients a day, Woah! where I work we see around that much but it's pretty much hybrid because of covid, keep grinding! love your energy:)
Do CCMA’s make enough to live on ?
HI Grace it really depends on the state you live in and the specialty you're working for, my starting pay was 15.30 hr but as you gain experience you get a higher wage, also please do your research on the job you're applying for..
Im sooo proud of youu
Hi I just wanna know would you consider this job stressful and hard? I have 2 interviews for a medical assistant but I’m not certified at all. I don’t have any experience just hospital experience working front desk. I’m a little nervous
I believe it depends on the setting, the staffing, and the patient flow at the place you will be working at. In my experience, working at the Urgent Care has been a little more hectic than the medical office since it’s more walk-ins than appointments. Other than that, I don’t consider the job to be neither stressful, nor hard. Hope it helps and good luck with your interviews! I know you’ll crush it 💪🏻❤️
@@yourlatincma6564 thank you😀the one interview I had I knew I would get it. I did so good on the interview and was suppose to go yesterday for my second one and to meet the staff and doctors, it was at a doctors office. Well the lead MA put in her notice so they didn’t have the staffing to train me. I was sad because I really wanted that job and it was only a 20min ride from my house and free parking lol. The manager did say if she had any other openings in the different clinics she would reach out to me. I have an interview on Friday in Urology and I’m hoping I crush this one lol. My current job I hate lol so fingers crossed
@@KaylaHuggins88 how did it go
@@happyfeliz6564 well I ended up taking a position in urology and it’s a very busy clinic in the hospital, but you learn a whole lot. Weiss short staffed and depending on what doctor is working that day huh will be working overtime lol. My shirt was 8-4:30 but most days we don’t get outta there at that time. The work we do is basically nurse work we do EVERYTHING. I know some places you just turn the patient and take vitals, but at my job it’s way different you definitely assist the doctor or Pa but it’s a lot to take in and sometimes it can be overwhelming. It’s been a month and I’m still learning. I wanted to quit hut I’m going to stick it out for year get the experience and transfer to another department within the hospital that’s less busy lol
@@KaylaHuggins88 hello thanks for answering my question. i have a interview this Monday. if i do get the job i would work with all the little kids 0-18 ... i am a little scared myself since all i work before is labor job.
Am I the only one that thought that alarm clock in the beginning was mine 🤣 Love your video girl!!! I’m currently starting classes to become a MA 🥰 so excited!!
Omg!! That’s so great 🥰 I wish you all the the best❤️ ps that alarm has caused me PTSD lol
Can you work on the Hospital like medical assistant or is a different thing ?
At the hospital no, mostly outpatient and urgent care. If you’re looking for inpatient experience, I’d say CNA, PCT or EMT are better options 🤍
@@yourlatincma6564 Omggg thank you so muchhhhh 🙏🏻
Greattttt video!!!😻🤟🏽
How long was your MA program and any tips you may have for people starting?
My program was a year long, PLUS externships. My advice: get those externship hours, and as much experience as you can. If you wish to pursue further medical education, it’ll be extremely helpful 🤍
I want to become a PA and I was wondering is it a good idea to become a CMA right out of high school just to see if I like it and get some Patient care hours experience? Also is it a job you can do during college or just in summer? Than you !
Yes that is actually what I’m doing now! I also go to college too , it’s tough but it’s gonna be worth it !
@@makaylaortiz4031 thank you! Good luck you can do it
@@makaylaortiz4031 did you find it hard to get hired with no experience?
Thank you for the utube! I started my Clinical Medical Assistant course 3 weeks ago. I am in a male in my late 40's but wanted to study MA so that I can help people. I am interested in Internal Medicine ( preventive care). After the program, I need to complete externship / internship for 3 months which the college is going to arrange. Do you see any challenges that I might face being a male in my late 40's because this field is mostly dominated by young girls? Thank you!!
As a female MA, I wish we had a little more gender diversity in our department lol I love that you’re doing what you’re passionate about and I wish more guys felt confident in themselves like you are. I definitely think that we need to break the stereotype. I love your determination, I wish you all the luck in the world!!
@@yourlatincma6564 Thank you so much for your kind words! I appreciated :)

Do you no coffee give you lung 🫁 problems and heart disease 🦠
I drink coffee every so often because it makes my stomach ache 😣 sometimes I even have coffee just like a treat or a snack, me never everyday or more than once in a day 😊
Alcohol, witch hazel, and proscribed nystatin cream will clear that all the way up.
