Follow along on my journey as I try to exit the 9-5 rat race computer job and start doing things I enjoy and actually living, not just existing. I'm not an expert in anything, but I am willing to give it a try, share knowledge, take advice, and be kind to others. I love cars and all things mechanical. Tune in and watch the projects take shape. I build cars the way many of you would, on a budget, with some swap meet parts, some new parts, and some stuff from Speedway Motors, Summit Racing Equipment, Jegs and Amazon, etc.

Is that a Rambler Marlin ???
Indeed it is! 1965. Good on you for recognizing it, most folks have never seen one before. Check out my other short vids to see the new motor and stuff. Thank you for the channel interaction, Im new to TH-cam and trying to grow the channel.
Great videos man!
Thank you! Longer videos coming soon.
Go with the coil overs and ditch the springs mount the four link where you have it ground from GG
Get it
I'm doing the old fashioned leaf spring from Calvert caltrac and a shock relocator kit
Nice. I did consider leaf springs, but with my fab skills( a bit green), I figured the 4 link would require less sheet metal fab instead of having to "create" 4 mounting locations. Thank you for your channel engagement, Trying to grow the channel.
TH-cam it
I did, and found out that there are hundreds, if not more videos regarding vertical bracket placement ,not so much on horizontal. But I did find what i was looking for in a reddit feed. In my situation, mounting the 4 link brackets closest to the backing plates provided the most stability, keeping the coils and relocating the shocks will do the trick. Thank you for your interaction as I continue to grow my channel.
more detail longer video
Thank you for commenting. I plan to post longer format videos, Im just getting started with TH-cam and hope to grow the channel. Please continue to follow to see longer posts shortly.

Awesome
I would not fool with drum brakes
I hear ya, I think it should be fine though, The car does have factory front disc brakes, unique feature for 1965.
Good to know thanks for that
