I would say it's not necessarily a bad version to have if you can't get it in any other format. I played the original SNES and the iOS version of the game 100%, and I was satisfied with both. The Steam version definitely takes from the iOS/Android port. Some extra dungeons and some anime cutscenes added.

So sorry I didn't reply yet but no unfortunately it has been removed from Playstation Plus - this was at the time the game was available in the older service named PS Now. All Konami were pretty much removed :(

Thanks for the comment and I so agree with you! I still consider myself hooked the most to this opening from Umineko than any of the others. The mix of tensions annd mystery perfectly reflect the first part of the Umineko story.

I should have think about the scroll wheel using the numbers in the keyboard and I never tried right click when I had a block (just when I picked up food). Thanks for also replying to my question re the world being randomly generated :) Now that I tried the Java edition I will most likely do the 3 other games available on Xbox Game Pass, respectively the Windows version, Dungeons and Legends.

@@tossashow the windows version should be pretty similar (if I remember correctly it is just the mobile/console version of the main game), but dungeons and legends are completely different types of games.

I definitely agree. There is just a charm in the original design and selection of music that made me love them very much. Not that the Console ones are bad, but the original is just much more special to me!

Catbox brought back these openings with updated visuals. You can now enjoy them with the PS3 sprites and backgrounds

Thanks for the comment! It was played on PC using the Playstation Now app (now defunct and replaced by Playstation Plus Premium). Unfortunately Metal Gear Rising Revengeance has been removed from Playstation Plus Premium so it's technically not possible to play it as I did at the time. I hope it helps!

It's the magic of Ryukishi07, all those tips of what the real story is all sprinkled around which you can't always understand up until the end. This opening is rather interesting as IIRC it was never used in game, it is just a bonus. It is just the more fascinating to me now you're mentioning the allusion of the trip! Unfortunately not, it was part of the older Playstation Now service. It is since removed from PS Plus Premium. Most of the PS3 games would only be available on PS Plus Premium as cloud streaming, unless they got a remastered edition for PS4/PS5 - unfortunately it is not the case for The House of the Dead Overkill! Maybe SEGA will eventually allow it to be back on the platform, but so far no PS3 SEGA games on PS Plus Premium (except the upcoming Alex Kidd on end of September 2022).

I completely agree, it was really fun to play. It seems there is some sort of remake of the original The House of the Dead happening (I saw it on Google Stadia, Steam, PS4 and Nintendo Switch) so there may be hope :)

First of all thanks for watching! The Secret of Monkey Island is only available as a PS3 game on the cloud streaming service PS Plus Premium and may not be available for all regions. What it means is that if you have Playstation Plus Premium, you can access it via the PS Plus PS4 app under the Classics Catalog; or you can access it using the PC app of PS Plus Premium. Hello! Does those instructions can help you? 1. Find the folder where you installed Final Fantasy XI 2. Find a folder named "Tools" / "ToolsEU" / "ToolsUS" depending on your region 3. Launch "FFXiPadController.exe" 4. Once the window open, you can decide on changing each value yourself, or use the Predefined Setups - I personally have an Xbox 360 controller, so I used the XInput predefined setup

I never tried with anything but a Xbox 360 controller on PC so I am not sure what it does with other controllers, but hope it works out for you!

Last time I tried I was around 20+ MB for download, 10+ MB for upload. I was with my ethernet cable connection too, not wifi. It ran pretty smoothly for me overall.

@@tossashow Which country are you in? Is it really that smooth cause I’ve heard that it atleast needs an 50-100 mbps connection for a playable experience, is it? Thanks a lot for replying though.

​@@thegamingstoic I am in the USA, and I actually re-tested my speed via Ookla today, it seems download speed goes up to 56MB today. Since PS Now has a 7 day trial, it's probably worth to test before buying it. Note though that some games are downloadable on the PS4, if you have a PS4 that is. I would say I love the collection they have of games in PS Now, lots of great games mixed in with some indie games.

Sorry to hear this! I don't have the game installed anymore to double check but I recall the tool allowed to manually configure each button, hopefully this would work. I wanted to test DS4Windows with it to tie a Playstation 4 controller, but never had the opportunity to do so.

I actually never tried with a PS4 controller. Maybe try to install DS4Windows so your PS4 controller is recognized to its full strength and then retry the FFXI Gamepad configuration software. I used DS4Windows recently for Citra emulation and it worked amazingly well. I may also try by myself to use a PS4 controller for Final Fantasy XI (now that I played FFXIV with the PS4, it seems to me it could be a greater alternative).

I found a solution I checked on all the boxes on top left and only left out "enable Xinput" and that made my ps4 Dpad work

I am currently playing the remake and so far I find it pretty good, lots of great nostalgia. The game tries to please both FF Players and new players, which I believe is a good thing :). The Prelude of Final Fantasy always had been fun to listen to, I think Final Fantasy IV (FF2 in the US at the time) impressed me thanks to this music and the Prologue.
