I suggest using C55 coconut wax or 904 premium blend para-soy wax, as we have conducted tests on both and found them effective. If you choose to use a different type of wax, please ensure it is suitable for wax melts rather than for containers or candles. While I haven't tested coconut oil, I have used mineral oil, so you will need to conduct your own tests with coconut oil.

@@tracybyers2176 for this wax (904 premium blend) I used 1 to 1 ratio in this video. The ratio can be modified if you feel it’s too soft add less mineral oil, or if you feel it’s too hard add more mineral oil. After testing I loved the consistency so we used equal parts 904 premium blend parasoy and mineral oil.

Yes be very careful. The oils are highly concentrated that we sell so that is why I recommend to give them the string separately.

@@reneemerica6406 also I would like to add anything that has fragrance oil in it can potentially leave a stain if it’s touching something over a prolonged period of time. For this reason we do not recommend including the string inside the bag.

We recommend to let it sit for 48 hours. The leather is 100% natural veg tanned leather that will absorb the oil immediately but it’s best to let it sit for 48 hours.
