Ride to Mt. Baker, Washington - Ski Area / Part 2
Come and join Jeff and myself for a day ride up to Mt. Baker, WA Ski Area.
Mount Baker, also known as Koma Kulshan or simply Kulshan, is a 10,781 ft / 3,288 mactive glacier-covered andesitic stratovolcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc and the North Cascades of Washington State in the United States. Mount Baker has the second-most thermally active crater in the Cascade Range after Mount St. Helens.
Mount Shuksan, is a 9,131 ft / 2,783 m glaciated massif in the North Cascades National Park. Shuksan rises in Whatcom County, Washington immediately to the east of Mount Baker, and 11.6 miles south of the Canada-US border. The mountain's name Shuksan is derived from the Lummi word [šéqsən], said to mean "high peak”.
Concrete, WA is a town in north-central Skagit County, Washington, United States. It is part of the Mount Vernon-Anacortes, Washington Metropolitan Statistical Area. The naming occurred after Henry Thompson was killed by a logging train in 1918. At the time, its graceful arch was the longest single-span reinforced concrete bridge in the world or perhaps just in the West and has been listed on the Washington State and National Historic Register since 1976. Until 1972, when the Washington State Department of Transportation re-routed Highway 20 (then known as Star Route 20) outside the town, the Thompson Bridge was the only connecting thoroughfare across the Baker River and into eastern Skagit County.

Greetings, enjoyed the video. My Wife and I have been to the Anacortes Oyster Run twice. I always thought this might be what the Sturgis motorcycle rally would be like, only of course on a much larger level. Safe Travels.
Sturgis is a must go for any riders. The roads around the Black Hills are one of my favourites. The Oyster Run is normal are last big ride of the season. Thank you for watching, see you down the road!

Wht mount do you use for the GoPro??
On the helmet I use a Chin Mount (www.chinmounts.com) and on the handlebar the GoPro Gooseneck with the Jaws Flex Clamp. Thx for watching, see you down the road!

@@jordank2529 on my helmet I use the GoPro 10 and on the handlebar the GoPro 8. In my first videos I only used the GoPro 8. For editing the videos, I use CapCut.

How did your bike perform in the heat and most importantly, how did you kept cool and hydrated?

When roading thru TX I was on my Kawasaki Concours it had no problem with the heat as for me I had my riding gear on which while moving wasn’t a problem, it also prevented moisture loss, dehydration; the next year when I got to Death Valley riding my Harley I just dress the same I had no issues.

I can't find an honest review about the shoe.
