The hungarian theater was home to the LVIII panzer corps, as well as 1st and wnd hungarian armoured, and the st. Ladislaus parachute division, all of which had tigers and panthers in inventory. Operation Maargaretha the armoured effort to break Budapest out of encirclement with an armoured advance north of lake balaton was the last large scale concentrated aemoured offensive by the Axis in the war. The units could not reach their designated forming areas in time, and so the assault on the siege ring never materialized. So yes, the Germans absolutely had significant heavy tank assets in theater in winter of 1945.

@@ryleeculla5570 I have seen photos of Tiger IIs in the siege of budapest, but dont know what unit they were a part of. Hungary purchased tigers and panzer IVs to rearm its armoured and cavalry divisions from spring of 1944, and more were delivered after the german occupation in september witht he Honvédség being subordinated to OKW.

The game itself can be bought on Steam, no hard copy as far as i'm aware. The mod you see in this video is a free download on steam workshops (kind of DLC for the game).

@@gutlaflpx5841 the one I started with got something like 130 kills and died on the 3rd defensive line to a flamer. so that was before even the giant 10 wave defense, i wish i could've kept him alive for that. those dang assault sappers are menaces in this campaign. do you prefer defense missions or assault missions? personally I love the defense, as they let you focus on setting your troops up in good positions and then sitting back and enjoying the spectacle. the limited manpower you get in this campaign especially encourages you to value your troops lives.

Jup thats what i thought aswell. In part 2 there are even more traitorous Astartes. And they are a pain in the ass. (And that one mf Baneblade is also a thorn in my eye)

Because Tanks are OP in this mod. And i focused on them and AT guys. And they are really expensive thats also a reason!
