That is a very large incision. Why so large if you were going to remove the sebum? They are going to have a huge scar.

The best way to heal this cyst is from the inside bottom up packing the wound and removing it every day at first, then extending the time between. It takes a long time but as long as the sac is taken out it will never come back. I was born with a cyst on my spine at 5yrs it was operated on but a drainage hole was left in. When I was 25 it came back with a vengence and operated on allowed to heal this way. I am 70 now and it has never come back.

Talking about literally getting your ass cut.

Seeing how the doctor said this was a lipoma before the surgery started, it leads me to believe they didn't think it was a cyst due to the size. We all got a surprise! 😮😮
