Shame this course is closed. I used to drive 3 hours on my day off just to play this course. The views from a lot of the tee boxes are incredible. Some said it was really windy sometimes and unplayable but I never experienced that. It's on top of a mountain so it's possible. Then something happened. The club house burned and I never knew what happened after that. Apparently it had a name change and someone else tried to make it work. It's a shame Fairfield glade didn't pick it up as additional course. There are houses and apartments close to the course. One time the course manager brought our foursome some beers on a lovely summer day. We didn't ask him to. He just did it because that's the kind of facility this was. Friendly staff and beautiful course. Glad I took photos when I was there. Will be missed.
