Nice video man...chk out Top 5 things to do in Mcleodganj on my channel...Hope you like it :)
What a beautiful place. It is atonishing.
Srijit, You normally find snow just before snowline. Trail to triund does not have snow in summer. Do the trek till snowline - it offers some close up views of the peaks. And it is not that difficult. Cheers.
I completed the trek upto Triund last week, the view was enthralling ! It was my first trek and just managed to complete it in 3 hrs and 10 mins odd.. Did find some snow by thr trail near Triund. I wanted to go up to the snowline but the weather conditions worsened with a constant downpour for 3 hrs !
Udit, The hike from McLeodGanj to Triund takes between 3 and 3.5 hours. It is a beginner hike with no technically difficult sections. You just need to have basic fitness. You may find some snow just before snowline though (if you decide to go beyond Triund) - Last April I had to wade through quite a bit of snow to reach snow line. Enjoy !
Thanks mate. The place is a beauty - I would strongly recommend it to anybody who loves nature and solitude.
Thanks for the video. Nicely edited and narrated.
Hi, I stayed the first night at the Villa at Senaru. It was arranged by John, who was my guide. I don't have the price for it because it was part of the package. :-( But, the package price was very reasonable. You can check out a detailed report on this hike on my blog. The blog address is given in the video description. Enjoy !
where did you stayed - this villa and what is cost :)
:-) I went there again this April - your first visit is never the last !!!
watching this on 2nd June 13 exactly a year after you shot the video )
Hi Ipo, The detailed itinerary is available on my blog - you will find the address in the video description. There is a search box on my blog where typing "Rinjani" would give you a detailed blog. I have listed out the itinerary and all other details in the blog. All the best - Enjoy Rinjani !
thanks for sharing your video..i'm planning ti visit RInjani this June but i'm still looking for an itinerary...do you have one?
Hi Chris, I started the hike at Sembalun trialhead and finished at Senaru. You can go right till the Sembalun trailhead with a car/bike. I did a 3D/2N hike - First night at Base camp, Second night at Crater rim campsite. Carry atleast 2L of water per day - I dont remember crossing any water sources. All the best - It is a lovely hike - one of the best in the region. Detailed blog is available on my blog - please refer the video description for the link - i am not able to add links here. Enjoy !
Hi, I'm looking to do the same hike. Can you tell me where your starting point was? How far were you able to go up the mountain with a bike/car before you had to go on foot? Also, how much water did you take? Cheers for your help!
@TheNursalwani could you please post your comment in english? Even Google translate is having a tough time translating it!
