Ye so, I am back with update, so, I refunded helldivers and bought 40k, and wount rebuy divers, cose 40k is sooo good, plus I have to grind for the black templars and salamanders

I have done today a big mistake, I bought helldivers 2, becose I really wanted it (mostly becose of the hipe 6 monts ago), and I learnt more just after, at the moment of writing the coment I have 30 mins spent in game, I will play tomorow untill I have 1 hour and 30 min to see more, and than refund it, cose it looks mid at the moment And I took into consideration the fact of combat, do I want to be a small human with a gun dyeing again and again, or be a big space marine with a sword I wanted since I heard about the 40k universe, more than 5 years ago and rip and tear aliens, yes I chose 40k since I always wanted to be part of the francise, and that I missed the vietnam battle in helldivers2. Will update tomorow PS good luck in school I am starting calledge in 2 weeks, hope it goes well, and sorry for this long text, I really needed to put somewhere my thoughts and talk to a person with more knoledge on the subject <3

Totally different game. Dont compare with your bullshit click bait title. Hd2 is fast fun. Sp2 is a grind mess like some elden ring lite playing with the other 7th grade nerd boys.

Its not hell divers. Its nothing like hell divers. Its gears of war with god of war melee combat and unlike hell divers the diffcult comes from skill not weapon nerfs and enemy buffs

Well I'm dying with the game

This aged like good wine lol. 6 fucking maps for PVE and 5-6 hours long story mode. 10/10 will definetly not annoy repeating same map.

If you like Doom then I'm sure you may caught this nice reference. When you about to exit the first level in Boltgun, the room you're in is pretty much the same room you start in classic Doom 1. Put them side by side and yeah definitely similar

HD2's biggest blunder was one of the most basic game developer rules: never nerf "overpowered" weapons, buff other weapons and/or create new enemy types to level things out instead. They screwed up by nerfing all of their fun to use "OP" weapons and accessories and vastly increasing the number of enemies and difficulty to the point that the only viable option was to play the game like a running simulator, a boring meta.

As a wise man once said "Arrowhead accidentally made a fun game and than made it what they intended."

This is kind of an overdramatic and not very based take. No matter how you slice it, Helldivers 2 is (and will probably continue to be) a colossal success. The fact that it's a live service game which got the numbers that it did (probably 10x what they were expecting) AND charged $40 to play means Arrowhead is absolutely swimming in cash right now. I don't know why people can't understand that it is the norm for games to lose 90% of their initial player base after a little time. Most will unlock all the stuff they wanted and go play other things with occasional return trips as desired or as content is added. It's not like Arrowhead gets paid by the head per hour of engagement or anything. Hell, because of their monetization model, they're probably saving a boatload of money in server costs while they just keep building. The writing was always on the wall that it's going to be a game with seasons of high and low player interest, which is fine. Acting like Helldivers 2 is going to die just because of a few community snafus or because there's another game where space soldiers shoot at bugs is silly. I'm sure Space Marine 2 is going to be a fantastic game, but, as a massive Helldivers 2 fan, I have no interest in it. I don't know anything about Warhammer, but the game looks like Gears of War mechanically which are games I do not care for. The set of people who would like both probably doesn't have nearly as much overlap as you would assume. I normally don't even like shooters, but Helldivers just nails the tone in a way few things do for me. The fact that Arrowhead got people like me on board in the first place is like a testament to how special and unique what they have really is.

Yeah, no, space marine 2 is AWSOME, but it's not Helldivers 2. The only similarities are the satire and killing bugs that have similar names (Termanids and Tyranids)

Space Marines 2 is just the mercy bolt. Sony & Arrowhead killed HD2 with constant meddling/nerfing.
