To celebrate 100 years of the Connemara Pony Breeders Society, Past Champions were invited to parade as part of this year’s 98th Annual Connemara Pony Show. Friday afternoon saw some of the Working Hunter Champions from across the years gather in Ring One. Ponies that presented on the day included:
Westmir Queen (Westside Mirah x Cantaharba Lady) - Working Hunter Champion 2009. Bred by Martin Golding, owned by Antoinette Geoghegan.
Cashelbay Prince (I Love You Melody x Coosheen Pheasant) Working Hunter Champion 2010. Bred and owned by Robbie & Barbara Fallon.
Agharanny Minstrel (Castleside JJ x Silver Mint) Working Hunter Champion 2018 & 2019. Bred by Sean Hynes, owned by Noreen O’Connor.
Blackwood Fernando (Ferdia x Dancing Queen) Working Hunter Champion 2012, 2016 & 2022. Bred by Patrick Mc Namara, owned by Claire Devlin.
