You have never seen THIS many Japanese beetles
How low can you let the box hang down inside the room? does it matter?
The hen and chicks had to be so scared in the dark, with a raccoon digging under their coop, knowing if it made it inside, they’d be killed.
Why does it seem to happen to our favorite?
I was trying to enjoy the information but the gulping of the drinking is abhorrent
Which chimney adapter did you guys use to make the double wall stove pipe connect into the double wall chimney pipe? I can't seem to find one at all i can only find the single wall to double wall chimney adapter but not the double to double wall adapter
Been watching a lot of videos and this is the first that explains the different piping and how everything fits together the best. Thanks! Also did you install a damper in the pipe?
@@sixt9stang thankyou! No we didnt put a damper in the pipe as there was one already in the stove… also do watch the followup video as we re did the flashing to go under the shingles
What kind of countertop is it ? Where to buy ?
10,000 subscriber 👊
I just heard you say it. Thank you
My Lord, somehow I guess by having the window open at night at my ground apartment with huge trees around I somehow got biting flies in my house. They are so tiny they can come through a regular screen. I would spray the screen so mosquitoes would try to come through, I knew nothing about the No-see-ums, this is what Google call them bc they are so tiny. Does the glue come with the Bug ball?
fist off never go thru the roof lots of heat lost ,
Good video but the guy telling you about the support and the flashing is correct if this isn't done you will have leaks every time it's just a matter of time. I would hate to see that happen to you.
Did you guys ever install a damper in the black stove pipe or is one needed ?
All the predatory animals make it almost impossible to free range even in Modesto ca there’s so many things you have to to watch out for good thing for security cameras.
This was really the part I was trying to learn more about is the ceiling portion because I understand the base and the separation of the floor between the stove but now I know there’s a kit I can go get a hold of. You guys live in a converted shed?
@@RyanandSharonWelch thanks for watching! just be sure to tuck the flashing under the shingles on the upper half of the boot that you nail to the roof- we did that wrong and made a follow up video fixing that error! It should be linked as the follow up video or in the description 🙌🏻
@@RyanandSharonWelch we were living in a converted shop yes!
As said from others that is going to leak. It needed to be under some shingles.
This is the United States not england we have real predators even you are on the menu.
My cameras caught a second raccoon releasing the first one from his trap 😂
You need to tuck the flashing under the shingles on the top. It will leak
Unless you have been in the residential construction occupation this is not something you should even try . People who make these videos make it look easy. One mis step you could lose your house to fire . Always have your wood stove installed by a trained professional it may save your family and your house
To manage your small garden seems different to take care about my vineyard. Any real systemic solution for that ?
My neighbor put up traps and drew thousands of beetles to my yard. Don’t do it
if you have a dry wall cieling , dont you need to have an insulated pipe anyway??????
A good roofer will cover the whole flashing with shingles and you won't see any flashing on all vents .
You got 1. Big deal. You’re problems are just beginning
Hmmmm? What are nematods?
Cool 😅
I did concrete, cement block, and brick for over 25 years and love it. Concrete isn't just a man's job
That left curtain might have to go. It's bit close to the stove.
😂🤣😂🤣😂... 🤦🏾♀️that's totally me !!! 😅
😂😂🤣😂🤣
😂😂... regular life while You Tubing.😅
Just curious for any guinea owners out here. I had guineas for 25 years, been cleaned out by coons in 1 night , never seen a difference in how many ticks I personally got and agree they are great security systems. The oldest bird is now 11 years old, she still screams all day, eats normal, gets up to roost(indoor pole) but doesn't run just steady walk. Question is on this hen her crawl over the last 6 months has gotten lower to the point the feathers are gone and I can see everything she ate through her skin, what can I or should I do? I don't want to put her down but I know if she hits something sharp or just right there's going to be trouble.
GP breed is the best. My GP has scared off foxes, hawks, and stray dogs from our chicken area.
Thank you! I just ordered the 3 pack 🎉
Have you had any issues with ice dams forming? We also have a vaulted ceiling and I'm nervous to install the wood stove as someone warned us that a wood stove's heat can cause ice dams on vaulted ceilings due to there not being an attic/increased insulation...
@@benrichardsonben1276 no i have not heard that- we have used it for 3 winters now with no issue- we do have a low roof so its easy to get up there when it snows and we do shovel snow off the roof - we are in zone 6a so it hits -20 at times hope that helps
I can’t stand the Japanese beetles on my rose bushes so one time I went to the store looking for this trap. I looked at it for a long time and finally walked out the store without getting one. I just can’t kill them.
Things like this are a learning curve. I cannot tell you how many home projects that I took on where I had to figure out stuff along the way. Your video is helpful, and I appreciate you posting. Have an awesome day 🙂
New subscriber! Looking for toilets! 😂
Snakes eat the eggs. Help. Freeranging
Our guineas roost in some trees close to the house. Their biggest predator is owls. At one point I lost 1 guinea per night for a number of days until I found how to keep the owls away.
This was a very helpful video but definitely don't install flashing that way as it will leak. To properly install that type of flashing, you would need to remove some of the shingles above the chimney pipe and reset them over the top of the flashing. You also would need to be careful how it gets nailed in, if the nails are in the wrong spots, it could leak.
1 big Patty and 5 little links! Pun intended! Lol
Fabulously Easy recipe. THANK you!
I wouldn't mind hanging the bags out, but why do they make them so ugly?!
Persistence wins this battle.
Can't buy these on Amazon and have them shipped to California. Ebay will deliver.
Sorry for your loss. What a lucky dog Samson was, and how lucky you were to have him. Heartbreaking that some people can just kill an animal with no remorse. It’s not possible that they couldn’t have seen or feel that their car had hit him, so that they could have at least stopped and talked to you. R.I.P., Samson. Your memory will be treasured. I have a rescue dog that seems to have parts of the same Great Pyrenees breed (although medium size), mixed with a bearded collie; she’s still a puppy now. I don’t live in a house with a yard, but I try to walk her out as often as possible, and also play with her indoors and challenge her often. Amazing companion, tons of energy and fun, but also affection galore. She is fully dedicated, protective, but only barks when something is really strange or problematic, so I love how intelligent she turns out to be every day, trainable and independent at the same time. I work with many children and young adults and she loves the attention from everyone. Grateful for finding your video - respect for what you’re doing, keep up the great job! I loved watching you all and your beautiful animals. Try to get the new puppy soon, so that your grief is also redirected positively onto a fluffy soul which can’t wait to get home and fill those big Samson “shoes”. ❤ Love from Romania
i really love the chemistry between you too so awesome. God bless you for enlightening us
The ones here in Southern Illinois are relentless right now. We have a lot of strange and large insects here as well
