Day 14 & 15 | Camouflaged as a Student in U of T
Day 14 and 15 were two days where nothing much interesting happened, and because of that it took me more than a month to edit and upload this. But this is a reminder to not leave what you start midway (Self Affirm).
Namaste. Welcome to my 30-day Canada series where I’m just being my raw, unfiltered self and sharing what life looks like on this side of the world. Like an Indian in Canada.
I’m here visiting my brother (he’s studying at the University of Toronto), and we’re squeezing in a little family vacation too. So far, I’ve been exploring places like Vancouver and Toronto, having the most random and interesting convos with Uber drivers, and honestly, just trying to figure out life here. !
These vlogs are all about what I’m up to-whether it’s hitting up new spots, shopping, sharing where I stayed, or just doing everyday things like making coffee and going on spontaneous adventures. Oh, and I’ll be giving you a peek into the study abroad culture too!
Stick around if you're curious to see what life in Canada looks like through my eyes. Don’t forget to subscribe @radtalkss and follow along-there’s plenty more coming! Thanks. be kind.

Does this happen with you? Also, can true psych students guess whats one thing wrong with this video? Self-diagnosis, especially in the field of psychology, can be problematic and potentially harmful. When psychology students start studying different disorders and their symptoms in the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), they may begin to relate those symptoms to their own behavior or emotions. However, it's essential to remember that proper diagnosis requires professional training, experience, and a comprehensive understanding of the individual and their context. Firstly, self-diagnosis can lead to inaccurate conclusions. It's easy to misinterpret behaviors or feelings, causing individuals to erroneously label themselves with a disorder they do not have. Secondly, it might cause unnecessary worry and anxiety. Misdiagnosis could lead to inappropriate treatment strategies, causing more harm than good. Moreover, the field of psychology acknowledges that many symptoms can be common in a range of disorders and can also be part of normal human experiences. Also, self-diagnosis could be biased as we might magnify some of our symptoms while ignoring others. If you find yourself relating to symptoms you're learning about, the best course of action is to seek help from a mental health professional. They can provide an objective perspective and use their expertise to assess your situation accurately. Remember, being a psychology student doesn't replace the need for professional help. It's perfectly okay, and encouraged, to reach out to professionals when you're struggling. Maintaining self-awareness, getting regular supervision, and practicing self-care can also help manage the urge to self-diagnose. Remember that you're learning about these disorders to help others and understand human behavior, not to become your own therapist. Learning is a process, and it's okay not to have all the answers. Self-diagnosis can be a slippery slope, so focusing on learning and understanding, rather than diagnosing, is crucial.

Guide 👇 1)Undergraduate Level (No Psychology in 11th/12th):a) Course Strategy: Decide between an honours degree or an integrated course. If already into another degree, introduce psychology as an elective or minor. 2) Postgraduate Level (No UG in Psychology):a) Admission Insights:Many master's programs welcome diverse backgrounds. Notably, institutions like JMI and BHU often permit entry through entrance exams. b) Specialisation: Ponder over fields like clinical, counseling, or organisational psychology. 3)Post Another PG Degree a) Bridging the Gap:Explore universities offering bridge courses for those transitioning to psychology from different postgraduate backgrounds. b) Starting Anew: Consider diving into a master's in psychology or evaluate specialized diploma programs as a stepping stone.
