Just like the Q900, which is what it actually is, this is a radio you should run away from, fast and far. On VHF and UHF the spurious and harmonic output is worse than that of a cheap $20 hand-portable. HF is not that much better.

I can't get OpenWeather to detect my correct city which is Summerville, SC. This clock setup wants CITY, COUNTRY. So I read you can use the ID from OpenWeather. When I try the ID it shows 'nill' for my weather. Also I have seen mention of firmware updates, mine is on 2.3.9, where can I get a more recent firmware release?

If the menu is like that of the Q900 it is only a click from no to yes. Really great. But there are some risks as well. It is not an Icom or Yaesu radio and some firmware releases produce strange results. My Q900 only made 5W maximum after a firmware upgrade to version 3.4.3. So had to downgrade it again. But that was luckily no problem.
