ABS wheel Censor issues? It may not be the wheel sensor, it just may be the Wheel Bearing. Watch video for explanation.

The problem is mine is not throwing any codes. Should I still dig in and check the intake manifold?
Is it running bad ?
@@rodneybissell3628 So first it would only stall if it went into auto stop mode on like a red light. I disabled the auto stop function now this thing stalls out at any stop once it gets warm enough. put it into park turn the key and it stutters and sputters and eventually turns back on. No check engine codes.
Would that be the front driver's side or front passenger side? I have a 2014 SR5 4.6
Front Passenger Side
My wire to my back driver side wheel severed. I repaired it but traction, 4lo, 4hi are all still flashing. Tried some recalibration techniques from other videos. To no avail. Lights still flashing. Any ideas? 2010 tundra
Have you put a code reader on it ? (If you don’t have one.. Autozone will give you a free reading.) Did you change the turbine speed sensor shown in video?
Thank you for your service!
So how did the intake come loose, odd to say the least?
I’ll blame it on GM’s inability to properly engineer. My (wife) then girlfriend bought this car New in 2015 and it was the first question I asked her was “Had anyone ever been under the hood working on this to have to remove the Intake ?” And the answer was No! So GM’s lack of torque into aluminum , Lack of a mild locktite for vibration. Who knows but 100% GM’s fault!!
👍👍
2011 Tundra 4.6L V8 2wd. Same exact symptoms and codes, but I think my input sensor is on the driver side. I have the output on the passenger side but can’t for the life of me find another one on the same side. I didn’t realize it would take that many miles so praying I’ve got the right sensor and it works.
😊
I have P0016 I need help 😢
Thank you for sharing… mine was doing the same thing and checked it. It was so loose, tightened up and seems to be driving great now.
I hope this works ive literally changed plugs coils filters fuses and a few others amounting to a few hundred dollads !! Loosing my mind !!
I think it might be a battery connection problem check both batteries
I have a 2014 Malibu LT do you know what the problem is when driving and the check engine lights flash and it say SERVICE STABILITY TRACK?trying to fix it for years now
Same year. 2010, throwing that code. But i Replaced the sensor and it turned drove normal for 15ish miles and then went back into limp mode. Any tips?
I’ve checked mines to see if it’s lose and mines don’t seem to be . I put everything back together and I’m still getting this loud noise like it’s a vacuum leak somewhere, the noise is loud from start up and while driving. Any other ideas? Codes I have are P0297, P0014, P0106
Thank you!!! This was our issue!!!!!
Guys thank you ...just yesterday my wife 2014 chevy malibu lost complete power it gave me all kind of codes ..thanks to you guys I have a better idea where to look...thank you and God Bless both of you..
2015 malibu 2.5 110565 miles exact problem thanks eternally.😊
Duhhhh🙄 I wonder who left those bolts loose smh 🤦🏼♂️
Besides codes, did you have a lack or change in performance? My 2014 malibu ltz engine just started sounding like it was struggling when picking up speed it sounds forced the higher the rpms go when running. The rpms don’t jump up and down, i changed the spark plugs, cleaned the throttle body, cleaned the maf sensor, and made sure there were no air leaks in the system. Im running out of ideas. My next guess is maybe a cracked manifold exhaust and now maybe check if my intake is loose like yours was. Again no check engine codes on mine just engine sounds forced when accelerating kind of like a deep hum, growl type sound the higher the rpms go when driving. Once the rpms come down from the gear change the sound subsides a bit until the rpms go back up.
Yes, Everything you said.. Engine laboring like a bitch. With Check engine light on. After 45 mph it would clean up and run like swiss watch.. Then when you hit traffic light run like total junk. “Golf Cart Mode” would not work (Auto start at traffic light) And remote start does not work when this check engine light issue was present
If you have a cracked manifold it should throw a CEL because it’s sucking air
@@rodneybissell3628 thats my next move to check my manifold. Damn chevys man i just fixed my wife’s as well on her equinox.
@@rodneybissell3628 also my wifes equinox never threw a cel for her cracked manifold
Made the wife get rid of hers, She gave it to her mom after I repaired it… She hasn’t had a minutes trouble with it since she’s had it.. Thank God, I hated that car! The wife now has a 2019 Toyota XSE Camry… Zero trouble with this car, with 301 hp V6
I have the same car but different codes. Always throwing parts in but never solving the actual issue
Check your intake !
Late to the party here! My '14 Tundra threw this same code. Did a little digging and found your video. $24 later for a new solenoid and 20 mins of my time. Presto. I'm GTG lol. Ty bro, you saved me a grand I'm sure from the dreaded Toyota service writer scams! matt, Murphy NC
Good info. Thank you very much.
El mismo problema con mi malibu 2015 LT. Problema resuelto ayer 2024/May/07, cuatro tornillos flojos. Gracias a este video, yo solamente perdí $103 USD al comprar el MAF sensor innecesariamente. Thanks for posting this video, I can see that this is a very common problem. I only wish many other people could watch it before spending a lot of money and time on sensors and other stuffs and not getting solved the problem.
You're welcome!
Its crazy that we know more than the dealers. They should be privy to uncommon fixes to their vehicles.
I’ve had Dealership’s comment on my video also.
Thank you for saving me money because I have the same dam problem what blows my mind 😢
Do your car shut off while turning the steering wheel left or right
No, My Wife’s never did.
@@rodneybissell3628 my car shuts off if I don’t hit the gas while turning steering wheel left or right
Do you have an aftermarket Remote start on your car?
@@rodneybissell3628 no
Loose wiring to ignition under steering wheel column cover??
Intake is lose
Without a lift, I’m having a heck of a time getting to this part. Replaced the output one easily enough, input is tight on my Tundra. I have a road trip tomorrow and wondering if it can wait until I get back. Seems to be behaving fine, just flashing dash lights.
As long as it shifts into all gears, but I wouldn’t Get into the gas pedal at all… passing for instance, It may not downshift or shift back up into 6th gear??
I felt that got damnit
Would it be the same for 2014 throwing map sensor my car is stalling struggling to start and burning gas
If it’s the 2.5 Ecotec.. then Yes! Intake Manifolds known for nearly falling off these engines
Can someone share a tip on how to get to the clamp bolt under the right side of the intake?? I cannot get to that sucka!
Shallow socket 1/4” drive.. Maybe with an extension and a universal
@rodneybissell3628 thank you so much! I got it done! I am so frickin proud of myself!! 😊🙌🏽💪🏾
Thanks so much I already spend so much money and time changing solenoids and sensors and now here's the solution
What is the toyota part number for both sensors? I cant find the AISIN part number.
The One I replaced was an Aisin RST-007-1 I’d have to look up the other one ?
Thanks guys
i have 2011 tundra crewmax code p0717 anti skid control and engine light shown would it be turbine speed sensor too?
Sounds like it… That’s the exact symptoms I had. Watch my video and note even after you change the sensor your ECM has to acclimate itself to the new sensor and may take up to 100 miles to clear it from a Hard Set in the Computer.
@rodneybissell3628 thank bought speed senor super expensive $151 got to get it clear need to get smog test done before 12/31/23
Wow! Where did you get the sensor ? I bought mine off Ebay, I want to say it was like $78… and they are all over Ebay (i just looked) for Aisin Brand for $72 BiDenOmics got a piece of you… We know how to fix that shit in November!!! Trump 2024 !!
@rodneybissell3628 if I order from ebay I late for my smog test and due date which 12-31-23 so I bought it at oriely auto part
@rodneybissell3628 I install the new speed senor the anti skid and engine is now gone thank again for your video now I just need to drive about 20 to 30 mile that what the smog guy told and come back get smog test
Hey, how do you remove the clip?
Thank you!! The dealer only wanted to focus on the parts that threw their own codes. We only found 3 out of the 5 bolts, but they were super loose and I think tightening them solved the problem!!!
Awesome, Nicely Done! Yeah GM Stealerships are good for that! They kept trying to tell me it was the Purge valve until I called them out on it.. (Purge valve is near front top of Gas Tank, I installed an OEM purge valve and before I took it to the dealership I physically tested purge valve while in my hand with a 12 volt battery…. Then they tried telling me it was the 2 ft harness that plugs into it… I said nice try again, I had pulled harness and Ohmed out with a Fluke Volt/Ohm Meter.. They could do nothing but stand there and breath through their mouths! Then I found the Intake issue and here we are 😊
In the end, when I heard you say you found all those other vehicles except for a 2015 I was like praise you. I am the one you are helping today, so thank you so much because I was able to navigate my way around based off your video. 🙏🥹
I wanted to say thank you RodneyBissel
That’s Awesome Man! That is why we made it, Cause we had so much difficulty finding the exact problem! Hat’s off too you for fixing your issue, Nicely Done Sir!
Super helpful... I would advise changing the tensioner in... A bad tensioner in a bad belt withdrawal kind
Tell her let the man talk
Had the same issue. Map sensor is on the bottom of the plastic intake....near the throttle body area
Happens all the time if they’ve never been off before. Unless some wannabe mechanics been through it.
It had NEVER been touched by ANYONE… She leased from NEW then bought outright when lease was up.. Also Zero reason for those bolts to be loose and intake falling off if GM would do their GD job correctly that they get paid DEARLY to do and STILL want more 🙄🙄
@@rodneybissell3628 what I meant was they loosen up from the factory all the time causing misfire and lean codes.
This video saved my sanity ! Thank you thank you thank you !
You are definitely welcome… After me finding the problem, I figured My sanity wasn’t the only one in jeopardy!
🙏 🙏
Thank you!!
Thank you. Our 2012 Sequoia is throwing the same codes. Ordered the part today. Will we need to reset the codes or will the computer do it automatically?
You can reset code but a “permanent” will remain until you drive it a while, I believe mine took about 80 miles..
@@rodneybissell3628 Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Do you know how to reset the code?
@@BrunhildValkyrie Yes, the Zirich reader I have in the Video or you can possibly get it reset at Autozone after installing your part. I personally prefer my own reader to periodically check things, What I like about that reader I have is you can go into the ABS system and look for any faults your vehicle is harboring without showing up on the dash.. Good Luck 👍🏼
I just started having trouble myself... I changed pcv values has two of them... changed oxygen sensor both... driving me crazy
How Many Miles?
You my friend are a Godsend. I've been chasing these sames codes on my Aunt's 109000 mile "15" malibu off and on for a week now. 1st an aftermarket MAP sensor, replaced that with an OEM, still running rough, stalling at stops and reoccurring codes. I just happened to be replacing the front struts for the annual State Inspection and came across you video. Sure enough the intake was extremely loose against the head. All of the intake bolts were loose and 1 had actually fallen out. Car runs properly now and I'm sure this was the issue. I cleared the codes and I'll recheck next weekend. TH-cam is an amazing channel at times
You are MOST welcome Sir!! I’m SO Glad you found our Video and You were able to fix the Problem! Which you and close to 600 People have had.. If anyone knows how to start a class action suit, I’m all ears!
I got a code P2097 (2014 impala) telling me to replace my fuel pump. Engine lights comes on then turns off randomly. I will try this before i go a new fuel pump. Only 85k miles on the car. A while ago it told me it was my O2 sensors had those replaced still having the sputtering and loss of power issues.
I hope this is your issue Sir, So you can put this problem to bed
