Your playing tricks lol😂
Great tunes very well played cheers
If you enjoy this, listen to DeDanann's recording.
They have a high powered music box sound like DeDanann.
I've been working up Jug of Punch reel lately and there are some striking similarities! I wasn't familiar with Ted Furys before. Good stuff!
Wow this is unreal
Way to go, Grace!
bagus sekali. matur suksma
I like so much when she let the bow go down all along. Im not sure to explain it in english. Quand elle laisse son archet descendre tout le long.
Seeing you smile as your fingers fly over the strings is a delight. Thanks for sharing your love of the music, for all those years of practicing, and for continuing to share your talent with us! Congratulations!
Great playing - reminds me so much of Frankie Gavin’s Masters of Irish Music album.
Lovely fiddle playing!!! Really enjoyed hearing you both.
Excellent
Wonderful playing... had to look up Sandia Mountains. New Mexico, hitch-hiked there in 1973 but that was a long time ago!
Ye nice, but the tuning needs serious attention , it’s a bit torturing on the ears, 😂☘️☘️🇮🇪🇮🇪
That run down to the low note on mist covered mountain is fire!!!
wait wait is this a bouzouki? wow
Awesome!
Lovely playing, Grace, big fan,
This is exceptional from both. Both! It’s tricky. As in both can be great and not gel as a duet. Fab playing. 👏👏👏
You could win the All-Ireland fiddle competition if you want to.
Ar Fheabhas ar Fad !
Learning this on bouzouki as a band set. This is really good and yall did a great job! Just know there are folks out there who appreciate it!
When a fiddle tradition developed in Ireland breeds a champion from New Mexico, you know the tradition is strong.
Indeed, the overseas production of brilliant Irish fiddling goes back to when Brian Conway won in 1985 and Liz Carroll in ‘78.

Outstanding job!
That was nice!
Well done!
Absolutely top drawer 👏👏👏👏
🔥🔥🔥
That's some top playing from both of you. Love the sound combo of greek bouzouki - violin.
De Danann used to play these tunes - lovely combination and beautifully played. Really exceptional fiddle playing and the bouzouki accompaniment is top class. Excellent.
Always a pleasure listening to your music
What is her name playing the volion
Grace Broadhead
Check Mayo man Gerry Carthy, now living and playing in Santa Fe, for great old tunes.
Love the bouzouki
The bazookie player looks like Chester from Gunsmoke LMFAO
Great playing, nice tone!
Excellent musicianship and a nicely produced video. 👍
Excellent playing Grace !👍☘☘☘
You both sound great and helped me learn a tune. Thank you for posting
I love this video. Fantastic performance of these "slips". Could you please give the names of the tunes in the comments, Grace? I recognized Moll Roe & Hardiman the Fiddler.
Thanks for the names of first and third tune, they're great ones. Don't know the second, but the last is a 4 parter called "An Phis Fhliuch" or "O'Farrel's welcome to Limerick"... I'll leave you to look up the story behind the names, it's a good laugh!
The second one is Ride a Mile or A Mile to Ride, I've also heard it called Twas Within a Mile. Remember, if you know all the names you don't know enough tunes (Bobby Casey).
Bravo, magnifique. Congratulations from France 💙
I've been playing that last one for more than 40 years and never knew it had a name, other than 'Tommy People's ". Thank you, beautiful playing both, channelling the spirit of Frankie and Alec.
Very good..music to the ears !!!!☘👍
Hey Grace and Ben, lovely playing and great tunes! Ditto for you album. If you ever come through NYC, come play at our session at Slainte (every Tue night). With enough notice and schedule-permitting, you could be a guest leader.
It pays to learn your instrument properly
And the Humours of Albuquerque too! Something very deep going on here. The setting showcases the tune and playing beautifully in a uniquely inspired way. Would love to say 'Hats off! to you both but because your chosen headgear is so fitting, I won't risk it! Completely transported! Thank you.
@grace I hope Tommy Peoples had the pleasure of hearing you play! You show lovely respect for the heritage and play so beautifully. The tradition of Irish fiddle playing is in safe hands with people as talented and dedicated as you.
Very nice playing 👍👏
Nice! It looks like we have a budding Cathal Hayden on our hands!
