Love my Chiaogoo Bamboo and they have a nine inch circular that works great for socks. Concerning the striped sweater. Have you considered knitting the bottom a bit longer than the top. That might give you a length you feel comfortable with. You might also knit the back a little longer than the front and leave a 2-3” split at the side. The yarn and colors you chose are lovely.
I think I may do that and keep going. Love your idea of the split hem as well. Thank You!

Another enjoyable podcast! The gallant sweater sounds like something I could knit and it doesn’t have short rows! I love how cozy yours looks. I will be casting on a cardigan as my very first sweater nest week. It’s called the Brookgreen Cardi by Fogbound knits. Oh and your haircut looks great and the length really suits you!
