Hi Matt, If I use Titanuim white instead of matte medium, will it be the same thing or can we use Titanium white in the same way as matt medium?

Is it okay if we use a canvas panel instead of a stretched canvas?

Question about the last step: Why do another layer of gesso and matte medium, versus skipping the last step and instead pressing lighter with the colored pencil or using a lighter color so it shows through less?

Brilliant and informative as usual Matt. It’s been a long time since I used acrylics having tried airbrushing for a while. In the UK Nova Color is not available and buying from the US is costly so I will probably stick with Liquitex. Looking forward to the next lesson.

I don't have the matt medium you are using. Can I use water in the mix for a glaze? I am only learning about your technique after I have started two paintings.

You have taken out so acrylic paint on your palette. Is it not drying out ? Do you keep spraying the paints with water ?
