car wash used to make their warps out of cloth, which would hold dirt and cause scratches to the vehicle. present day, car washes use close-cell foams, same material used for yoga mats, which when used with water and foam lubricant, will not hold dirt and therefore not scratch any cars.

Definitely one of the best car washes ever for a beach area direction and I will be visiting this location in a few days and it’s the best place and the owners are definitely super very nice and friendly

Well, converting what had to be some roll-over wash or mini tunnel into a hand wash. We in CT and NY have Splash car washes, which is a regional chain of car washes including hand washes. But they run a tunnel system whereas the car goes on a conveyor through the tunnel and the crew hand washes the car at about 1/4 the way through. Arches and dryers take care of the rest. It's run like a full service with vacuums at the entrance. There are also tunnels with cloth and most of the time it's an express ride through.

The high pressure arch is made by MacNeil wash systems it’s an older model sadly it has been discontinued .

their dryer configuration is very interesting. they took what avw does with their system and have 1 flash dryer right after the high pressure rinse arch to blow away the water, allowing the sealnt wax/graphene/ceramic/whatever they have to work itself on to the car without it being diluted. very well-thought out.

You are very lucky to find this. The futura arch used to be a roll over but was modified to be stationary. This is from the early 1990s. Not a futura tunnel, just an early 90s futura ssa. WONDERFUL find of this ultra rare system!

Just so you all know, the big rectangle dryer is the type of dryer that was used for Hanna drop-down dryers and diagonal and hosed side dryers. The pipes would be connected on each side and next to the blower intake. The unit was taken out a long time ago and replaced with the middle four circular outputs. The pipe connections were capped off.
