Al comenzar a canalizar fue para mi una transición difícil de asimilar, soltar la vergüenza, el miedo al que dirán y posteriormente comenzar a comunicar los mensajes de manera pública. De todos modos tengo que mencionar que mis guías, varios seres de luz y personas de mi entorno me apoyaron en ese cambio, y a los cuales les estoy muy agradecida y honrada ya que fueron esa Red que me contuvo en un momento tan importante de mi vida. Nicely done. You obviously have good concentration. Please continue to be careful! Comment on the "makeready" portion of the video: One print, a couple of measurements, and off you go! Really? Or did you set it up beforehand? Platen press makeready, with tissue paper overlays, etc., was one of the biggest skills to learn when I took printing in high school, circa 1964 - 65. No way could we take off that quickly, without checking the back of the sheet for even impression. Comment on your You Tube title: Technically, that is not a "clamshell" press. Clamshell presses have a stationary bed, and the platen is brought up against the bed by the action of the press. Yours has a "rocking" bed, where the motion of the press brings the bed into perfect parallel with the platen before they close on each other. Yours is better, actually, because true clamshell presses tend to impress the bottom of the sheet slightly more than the top, which requires more makeready to compensate for that. Please - these are not criticisms. I am retired from almost 40 years in the printing trades, both letterpress and offset. It is nice to see young folks taking an interest in this craft.

So when you cranked it up....what was your i.p.h.? Mine was 1500 when I was 11 years old, not meaning as a brag just a question...

Tremendous i started running one at 11 years old in 1964, last job Was in August of 2015, 51years of running this grand old press, ours was born in 1916 according to serial #, its home now is in the the North Baltimore Ohio historical society..... what a blessing to have been able to run this magnificent printing press. !!!!!

I have so much printing stuff. Would any one be interested in any of it? I have some fancy scroll with spings that sets on each side of perf rule so it don't cut your rollers ,lots of big and small numbering machines. you name it i have it and lots of it.

God Dammit! I went to your website and i get stopped with a pop-up asking for an email for a subscription... AND THERE'S NO "SKIP" OR "NO" BUTTON!!!! So I'm just stuck there! How do you make a living when no one can see your website? Jesus!

This is the first machine I worked as an apprentice Printer in 1969 and it did not have an electric motor only a treadle so I had to use foot power, 25,000 sheets of 600UM board, and after I finished I had to die cut holes in them to take contac 500 cold and flu capsules. so That's 50,000 runs by foot power. after I turned 16 they engaged the motor and I had to run this fast, I also did 4 colour Process work on it as well, sometimes I had to overprint Annual Reports that had a last minute change, after they where Bound, an exceptionally versatile press, will always stay in my memory for ever, I worked many more, Hiedelbergs, Pearls, Vertical Meihle, Albert , Flat bed Preses, Offsett and Letterpress, Solnas, Dominants, Hamadas, Multiliths, Vikabolds, Oh The Memories, Today it's all photocopies.It was a skill then.

I printed on these back in the 80's. Once trained in we were expected to print at least this fast and most of the time a lot faster. Have been in the printing business for over 40 years. Of all the presses I have run over the years, this has always been my favorite. Unlike anything else this was very hands on so I considered this more of an "art" that a "job"

Very nice machine and slute to lady that she is operating very fast. I also have this machine but as s old memories.

We used the word Forme not plate and the press is a platen not a clam shell. It must be very old indeed if it doesn’t have an ink duct.

That press is much too fast for a novice to use. Someone is going to get hurt. Reduce the size of the pulley on the motor, please.
