I was doing some research on my grandfather. He was in this unit Battery E, Second Battalion, One Hundred Thirty- Ninth Field Artillery. I am looking at his annual from 1938. He and his fellow soldiers went on to the South Pacific during WWII.

In 2004, I was in probably the same exact hangar, saying goodbye to the same exact unit when my father deployed. I see a few familiar faces in there. God speed guys.
