Is this safe love ?
Thanks for the comment Rohtash! What do you think of the exercise?
@@ashleyburrathletictherapy8891 No idea ...I mean ..what i could have understood ..i have had back injuries ( stiff back like a wood log) while doing ( heavy Leg press ) ..and kindly teach me the benefits of this exercises whenever u get free time .tks :)
Thanks @Rohtash Negi . Typically this exercise is suggested as a way to increase hamstring flexibility while under load. I like to think that the J curl is a good way to create variability in our movement. We usually injure ourselves when our bodies are placed in a position it is not used to. Training the back in a bent position with a light load (I use between 10 and 30 lbs) will allow the body to become used to that position. I have noted that clients will have more movement in their spine and hamstrings, as well as less pain in the back after completing the exercise. I hope this answered your questions. I do offer online virtual appointments if you would like a consult! :) Have a great day!
👌
💚 Nice work! You should check out promosm!!! ! It’s a great way to quickly grow your channel!!
I move and they fall
Iliana Cruz If they are close to a joint they will most likely fall off every time you move that joint. If it’s say in the middle of the quad and falling off, it’s likely not getting a good suction, try using more lotion.
Ashley Burr Athletic Therapy omg no Ash mine you have to use talc or dry skin tried lotion and really doesn’t suction. I was getting it done with this guy charged me 65 for that bull girl 30 min then ran machine gun that I have for CrossFit all over. Not even certified lol so I bought $22 ones they had more expensive but I just wanted to try it. It does work for those knots on legs a lot couldn’t do my back just neck sort of. Any recommendations of the ones you have mine I’m going to toss I started to bleed w blisters a bit because was going ham on chest lol. My sports massage trigger point guy god he is good but not on back and he doesn’t do shit like he doesn’t know cupping stones when you do bootcamps and weights high intensity and I make good money but live alone I pay 445 x 6 massages lasting 2 months it’s too much my old ass is 45 jumping up and down and he’ll mist of the people that jump over tires are Caucasian @ age 60 plus wtfffff. They have great genetics I stopped MMA because anemia urs ago my passion to do bootcamps intense CrossFit and why the fuk do I have to do box jumps almost every class burpees after 2 yrs I got injured knee on right can’t run anymore or jog. Have severe back pain w knots on upper back lower even arm pits top of foot knees thighs my ass lol. For Christ sake it’s not even CrossFit it’s bootcamps jump jump jump that’s all they do and people talk shit how dangerous FUKING CrossFit is try bootcamp in Florida repetitive too. No more burpees my knees poor toes. Hot yoga at my age intense like vinyasa leans you out kills pain god pms but I’m addicted to iron and psycho lol. Can’t afford this shit anymore so recommend Ashley it does work or brainwash me to just do hot yoga but god I did 5 yrs of that shit I love flowing....but stopppp vaping 3 times 22 lbs up and CrossFit adds muscle I’m 5 foot 170 chubby loght now because when covid happened I was doing virtual CrossFit bootcamps no yoga. Killing 3 hrs of videos we all put on 5 pounds all of us and we were slamming it but doesn’t matter group class people like myself we think we’re going hard we definitely are not lol. Crazy I never went back and now my clothes don’t fit because I’m just lifting w some cardio and I loose weight just w cardio and hot yoga pilates I have to go back but damn you look like shit daily w that hot yoga sweating your hair l
So when you lean forward, your hips don't have to be perfectly squared to the front?
For the purpose of this exercise, you do want to try to keep your hips squared to the front. Was there a specific stage you are unsure of?
Would you recommend that I put a cup right on my knee cap, or is that something I'd be better to leave to the experts (aka you) to do?
I would recommend having someone show you the first time. 🙂
Certified Athletic Therapist, same thing as an ATC?
Ivan Prybylo , ATC Is “Athletic Trainer” in the US? In that case, as far as I understand, yes. A Certified Athletic Therapist specializes in the prevention and treatment / rehab of MSK injuries. Often found in a field, university, or clinic setting.
Great! Thanks :)
Welcome!
going to try this, thanks
